Hey guys, had a question about the setting for Unifi DIR615's rounter.

the problem occur when i use my Iphone access the internet through the Wifi connected to Unifi.

I can only connect for about 30 min and after that my connection will lost,i had to renew my IP address from my iphone before my connection is back to normal. Is very annoying when i'm talking via skype as the connection keep cutting off every 30 min or so. And i had to repeat the step mention above.

so guys, any solution to my problem ?

Try also without WPA/WPA2 and see if the connection still drop (just for try, without it is bad for security), I used to have a dlink router that does the same thing to my laptop, DOTA half way PP because it drop my wifi connection : (

em... found this info about DIR-615 from http://techreport.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=60862 :

Highlights from low-tier Draft-N roundup (disclosure: affiliated, though interpretation/conclusions may not reflect stated views):
-Only 32 simultaneous connections, compared to 80 for the next lowest device. This is not a router you want to use BitTorrent with.
-50% throughput loss when using WEP/WPA.
-Shorter range than comparable devices. May be sufficient for small apartments, but you may experience problems w/ multifloor locations.
-On the bright side, you're likely to be using G clients. Wireless throughput is within 30% of reaching performance provided by high-end equipment.

-------------------------------------------

Anyone know the concurrent connection limit for TP-LINK TD-WR841ND ?

Um.. guys. No cap has been imposed yet, right? At least that's what I gathered after skimming through this thread. Just want to clarify again.

I'm on the 20Mb package and it's *really* easy to go over the 120G cap. I just downloaded half a GB of anime in 10 minutes. Imagine how much I can download in a day.

True. But I'm sharing it with 2 other people. So 120/3 = 40G which works out to be very little...

Guys I did a YouTube video for UniFi VIP20. I used Camtasia and Speedtest.net to find out the speed. If you're curious, watch the video.

Also, I'm trying to find out why I get up to 60Mbps shocking.gif upload for UniFi VIP20 when I should get 20Mbps only ... anyone know why?
