thanks but its like 12 pages o_O

anyway I came across the Q&A (in pdf format) with TM and the answers were not exactly straightforward. Its neither here nor there. Especially on the data cap issue. Everyone knows its not implemented yet. But leaving the 60GB, 90GB and 120GB cap for VIP5, VIP10 and VIP20 respectively on their website is not very reassuring.

can you guide me to the exact post where there is mention of the review of the data cap and its announcement (apparently later this year)?

thanks

They wont even says if the 15 meter included in the RM200 installation is from inside your house or from their "tm tiang telefon"... Besides... you can always take the VIP5 now (if you really need that bandwidth now), and if they *do* cap you later you can upgrade to BIZ package...

if use more than the given quota, eg 60gb, what will the speed be limited?

When they exposed it, what I saw is just about 1mm or even less.  Its not much more than our hair really.

Anyone got charged extra by the contractor to drill a hole in the wall for the cable to be pulled in to the house?
shouldn't that be included in the RM200 installation charge?

You need to go to the nearest telekom and tell that you want to terminate your streamyx as well as your old house number. You will also be required to pay any outstanding amount on it, that is if there is any outstanding to begin with. Remember to bring a photocopy of your IC if it's registered under your name.

Well you should have expected is from TM. They won't be courteous enough to do most things for you tongue.gif. As for converting, Unifi is a totally new account while Streamyx is another so i guess it's impossible to do any conversion since the bill itself is different :|

doh.gif that what I call failed management, that what they do with streamyx before but after a few year they combined the account into 1 (combo), and they probably do the same with unifi in near future guess i just register a new account and terminate my streamyx later than, so much hassle doh.gif and also need to arrange with building management to open the MDF room doh.gif making me less want to change lol

and i missed the RM200 waived doh.gif

I've been using it since day one. Encountered a problem only once, when my payment wasn't reflected on the site and my bill, despite already being charged by the bank.
.
It took a simple phone call to rectify the problem.

Most of BIZ Package for home are registered via phone call on last year and doesn't need any company registration number, stamp and etc .Apply Unifi via phone call only take 1 week to process order while apply at TMpoint have to take around 3-4 week to process. smile.gif By the way i'm not sure if they edit their term's on this year (2011) sad.gif
