That's almost always the case in any foreign country, so your credentials have to be noticeably above average.

dont think so, some are looking for cheaper salary like those from philipine, china, india and etc
malaysian,pr, singaporean are more on the high side. imho, i have gotten thru all the interviews,so far so good.

Landlord just raised my rental. 1 person staying near Lakeside MRT for $500...is that considered expensive? Haven't checked rental rates in awhile.

Thinking of staying at JB too since I work in Tuas. But nowadays too many OT, finish 8.30 can't imagine what time I can reach home if stay at Gelang Patah there.

Basically Sembawang have almost all the necessary there. such as NTUC, Banks, Food and also clinics. not so sure about Shipyard because most of the time, i will be lingering around Sun Plaza and SSC.

No worry, I am commuting daily too. Normally I will take the TS8 bus to SG, and going to JB, either JB-SG Express bus or stop at Marsiling MRT and walk to Woodlands checkpoint. Or sometime lazy, I will take Cab.

Guys, just a quick question if you're earning about 9-10K RM in Malaysia. what would be your expected salary to work in SG ?
