QUOTE(evo.com @ Nov 27 2005, 03:18 PM) yea for the cube 15 and 30 theres a huge difference.... It's also partly because of the 10" speaker in the 30 as opposed to the 8" in the 15.volumewise they're prettty much the same but you get much more stuff on the cube 30 and the dist is much better.... you can go up to 5-6 without the speakers breaking on you QUOTE(superdav007 @ Nov 27 2005, 03:28 PM) Well firstly it's because it was Gibson's first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar. It's famous for its fat tone and sweet sustain. The endless list of LP players include Jimmy Page, Slash, The Darkness, Gary Moore, Zakk Wylde etc... Of course, you might like it, you might not. |

single coils have less output and sound 'thinner' also they tend to create alot of unwanted noise... especially on dist
humbuckers eliminate the noise and have a fatter fuller tone.. go try one and you know what im talking about |

superdav007, the wood affects the sound in a very subtle way. Basically, the heavier the wood, the darker the tone.
check this site: http://www.warmoth.com/guitar/options/options_bodywoods.cfm you'll understand everything. GODIN is a very good brand, but i'm afraid it's out of your budget... do they have cheap guitar ? i'm not so sure. Go to "guitar collection" and try them out. freaklick > weather = m'sia... hot and sunny and tropical rains and humid. but the sea is just 10min. away, so it's a whole different spirit ! |

looks like a fender strat'. you tried it, didn't you ? how did YOU find it ? you liked the sound ? because it is certainly a total opposite to all the guitars we just proposed to you above. |

about the amp......i think that u can't go wrong with the cube-15 and 30....they are really give a bang for ur bucks.....so far...i'm very impressed with my amp(cube-30)....the amp sounds better than wht i think b4 i buy it...it sounds good even it match with my lousy guitar...maybe evo.com can give u much imformation bout the amp coz he's also a cube user here.....it's heavy for me....
besides...u've to get some accessories too....such as.... 1.tuner 2.jack wire 3.string |
