what's mean dead/stuck pixels? so i open up google and check is there any black black dark spot?
*
Dead pixels are pixels that are, well dead. They won't turn on so they'll look black all the time
Stuck pixels are pixels that are stuck displaying one colour all the time.

There's also the Viewsonic VX2739WM for around RM1189+-.
Don't expect too much thought as these are still normal TN panel LCDs.
You can also get a full HD 32" TV for around RM1.4K,imo saving up for that would be better.

1-There are no true LED monitors being sold here eyt, those so called 'LED' monitors are just LCD monitors with white LED as backlight.Other than reduced thickness and instant max brightness, these monitors are the same as CCFL backlit LCDs

2-I recommend getting a Dell U2311H instead at RM599,use a DVI to HDMI converter + component to 3.5mm converter if you want to connect your PS3 to the monitor.
The U2311H completely trounces all 2 LCDs you mentioned in terms of colour reproduction and viewing angles.
If you can see that the U2311H's 8ms response time as slow in real life, you should  also see that the PS3 games' 30fps as slow too icon_idea.gif

If you're still adamant on getting a LCD with a HDMI slot, you can get the LG E2340V,it's better than the ones you mentioned before.

1- component to 3.5mm converter ? do you mean this ?

But these kind of converter very tough to find , because female-female , any idea where to get ?

2-
so under RM600 with hdmi option , LG E2340V is better than VX2439WM and consider best under 600 right ?

thanks for that, I've seen the viewsonic before and I personally prefer the samsung 1.

as for your recommendation on saving up for the full HD 32" tv, i was told by a friend that LCD TV does not offer as high a DPI as an LCD monitor would. and is therefore not recommended to be used as a computer monitor, any truth in this?

Well, the same can be said to the 27" LCDs that you're looking at too since their resolution is still just 1920x1080.LCD TVs with a res of 1366x768 is definitely unbearable personally, but ones with a res of 1920x1080 would be ok.Still, for movies a TV that doesn't use a TN panel is more preferable imo.

Anyone can recommend me 22~24" LED monitor ? possible to get under RM600 ? Mainly will use for ps3 , so must have hdmi , and audio out .

ST2320L match my requirement but I did see some negative reviews about it . How you guys think ?
*
I order the ST2320L , the reason is like your too, most review complain about view angle and contrast aswell color washout.. havent receive it yet, i will post my own Noob review here once i got it, BTW, since u got PS3, go for ultra sharp like RacerX said, unlike xbox user, the AV plug is designed to block away the HDMI port, mean if i plug in HDMI, icant get audio out from av connector...

The 40 in the model name indicates that it's of the LG 40 series display,at least that's what i got off the net anyway.

Most TVs don't use TN,they either use IPS or VA panels.I've seen a full HD LG IPS panel 32" TV going for less than RM1.4k in the garage sales section before.

The U2410 is factory calibrated,so it'll have more accurate colours out of the box compared to the U2311H.It should also have even better viewing angles and colour reproduction that the U2311H.Based on reviews i've read the U2410 loses out a bit in terms of contrast ratio though.

So you mean the U2410 viewing angles is much better than 2311H ? I though both IPS viewing angles is the best ?
Another question , i am newbie on this LCD , would like to know what 's the difference between LCD HD TV vs our Computer monitor like the U2410H ? LCD TV like Sony braiva using IPS ? or LED ? Their viewing angle is very good even on side almost 90 degree still can view it. hmm.gif

Both have very wide viewing angles,it's just that on the U2311H the brightness [or should i say contrast?] is reduced slightly at extreme angles [160+ degrees]vertically and horizontally[it's more pronounced when viewed vertically].
However imo the main advantage of the U2410 over the U2311H is the factory calibration and 16:10 aspect ratio.

About the TVs,they use IPS or VA derivatives so that's why they have very good viewing angles.TVs are viewed usually by more than one person so this is very important imo.
The colours of the U2311H and U2410 won't 'pop' as much as TVs you see in shops though as they don't use a matte coating on the display and they also use LED backlighting with local dimming [better contrast].

afaik the E2350T is similar to the E2350V except that it doesn't have HDMI
