the ST2320L isn't really good based on reviews,it's contrast ratio and viewing angles are bad,you can always use a converter for your PS3 too

nope,none that i know of.the last one afaik is the Dell Ultrasharp 2209wa but it's already discontinued and being sold no more.

check for dead/stuck pixels [open a blank white page in your browser fullscreen,see if there's any black spots]

Dead pixels are pixels that are,well dead.They won't turn on so they'll look black all the time
Stuck pixels are pixels that are stuck displaying one colour all the time.

There's also the Viewsonic  VX2739WM for around RM1189+-.
Don't expect too much thought as these are still normal TN panel LCDs.
You can also get a full HD 32" TV for around RM1.4K,imo saving up for that would be better.

yes, something like that, if your graphic card is unable to support your monitor 120hz refresh rate, your investment on monitor would mostly be overkill. but oh well, it's good for movie i guess. since 120hz boast are specially for movies and entertainment, which is not only focus on game.
