different ? nvidia having a better physicx than ati one. But as my prediction, you can put eyefinity for 3d on AMD ATI smoothly tongue.gif

i already check the samsung

i love it a lot but then i heard ppl say itz not worth it..but im not sure with the reason..i tink it has sumthing to do with the nvidia thing

btw, whats the price and i can find it at any samsung store right?

Ok you have to see the actual monitor yourself. Don't get carried away by other comments as it's not accurate. Since Samsung store have complete range of models. You can see the difference with your own eyes then make decision.

For the 27" easily above RM1,500 if not mistaken.

Sunway Pyramid or Low Yat also got

Just opened up my U2412M! biggrin.gif, love it. My 21.5 inch 2233SW looks like dwarf beside it. Hmm will try to post some comparison pics later on.

I find the U2412M very bright compared to my 2233SW ._.

I need to get the calibration right first, might post it later on :S.

Or is it my 2233SW too old already, the CCFL already not as bright.

Oh, the Dell unit usually come with 75/75 for its brightness and contrast so it's very bright on stock, oh yeah, can your Spyder measure the stock value of your unit? Would like to see if the value is well on par like the review posted just page away.
Of course, clouding and edge bleeding also need to take note wink.gif

For professional user, they need a device like Spyder 3 to assist for calibration. Otherwise, simply set to suit ur eyes or let it default tongue.gif

I saw the review on this Sypder 3 Express and it was not meant for more than 1 monitor calibration so I don't think it works in your condition.
Sorry to say that paying more = more options and multi-monitors support, I think it should be around RM300 more, right? hmm.gif

wildwestgoh,

Ok noted.

Then you could recommend a simple and easy to use meant for 1 monitor calibration. What LCD are you using anyway?smile.gif

I'm using ColorEyes Display Pro and using Spyder3Express as my sensor. That software supports multi monitor. So basically I calibrated both monitors but it doesn't match. Hmm, might be some thing I'm missing out.

Also, I have tried to set each as default monitor then calibrate one at a time. Both don't look similar either. (Turning on 1 at a time only..)

Gonna check the detailed settings when I get back home, might be the black and white settings issue perhaps. I left them at default on the program... or maybe its the Gamma... CEDP runs on L* instead of 2.2...

I see, so you're using dual monitor is it. Sorry didn't notice. Then good luck in your settings and calibration. Why don't you call up DELL technical help line for further assistance? Since your U2412M newly arrived.

Single monitor I think the DELL is doing good smile.gif. After calibrate it removes a slight pinkish tint on mine. More saturated blues. Tried to capture on my camera but can't see differences :S. Now at office sad.gif, eager to go back home to try matching both panels LOL!
