I don't think that's what you call "ghosting", but rather artifacts. The GPU on your laptop might not be enough for such a large resolution.

Sorry for confusing smile.gif Btw I did made a mistake just now, it's 1920x1200 instead of 1920x1080, how come? 23" supposed to be 1080p isn't it?
Can a Asus ENGTX 460 support 1080p resolution? And will VGA/DVI result in the graphic being displayed?

Thank you smile.gif

Even integrated G945 graphics can support up to 1080p, the rest will depends on what you want to do with that resolution.
If you game with that resolution, GTX460 should be quite enough provide you don't go for current high-end game and select very-high details in-game.
23" from general view is always 1920x1080 but your graphics card might not able to detect the native resolution properly thus might gives you choice of up to 1920x1200, you might see distorted image or cropped image.
You can post your monitor model here for much accurate analysis.

Just got my Dell U2311H today, sad to say i detected a dead pixel. Anyone did a warranty claim with Dell before? Normally how long do they take to replace your damaged monitor? Do they come and do 1 to 1 exchange on the spot or do they take your LCD back first and only send a new one to you later on?

Sigh, my excitement turned to dust after spotting that white speck of a dot when I did a simple test of putting a full black background.

Tried calling the customer service line but the lines are only open from 9am to 6pm =.=

Dell should have 1-to-1 exchange for this monitor (see Advance Exchange).
Your case might be the stuck pixel or bright pixel, means the pixel stayed at one color, that should warrant you to 1-to-1 exchange on next business day if they have stock on hand.

If you want quality,go with the U2311H,if you want size go with the ST2420L.But seriously though, since the size difference is just one inch imo go with the U2311H instead.

Yes true, same like me.

Is it worth to buy 3D monitor for now, just to watch 3D Movie, because 3D monitor is expensive, 23' is around 1.4K++, and also need 3D glass beside monitor alone, not to mention 120Hz capability

A few only, but u can get blu-ray recordable for cheap with the same quality as original nowdays.

But i think it is not worth lah for now to spent for 3D, because besides u have to spent for glass which is around RM500 for the reliable one, but also need to buy capable monitor for 120hz to support our both eyes.

Dell installment plan only for RM2000 and above.
Just save up RM600 then go ahead, with that amount, it's not even worth with any types of loan.
If you're desperate just borrow from someone else, can pay them a bit interest later. =)

you mean the large screen monitor with precise colour for professional work
try check on samsung site, guess u need to make order directly from manufacturer (the price gonna be so high)
http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/pc-peri...type=subtype_p2
panasonic also provide professional tv monitor ,but they recommend plasma coz most of them are real 12bit pixel with ditthering(up to 6144 gradiation/231 billions colour)
