Just got my Dell U2311H today, sad to say i detected a dead pixel. Anyone did a warranty claim with Dell before? Normally how long do they take to replace your damaged monitor? Do they come and do 1 to 1 exchange on the spot or do they take your LCD back first and only send a new one to you later on?
Sigh, my excitement turned to dust after spotting that white speck of a dot when I did a simple test of putting a full black background.
Tried calling the customer service line but the lines are only open from 9am to 6pm =.=

QUOTE(kanethesun @ Apr 5 2011, 04:27 PM) hahah, indeed, 1 inch diff wonder if buying from Dell, RM600+, any 0% installment scheme? None. 0% installment only available for purchases RM1800 and up. IIRC This post has been edited by sigheart: Apr 5 2011, 06:09 PM

For those who are still thinking of getting a Dell Ultrasharp monitor. Get it now lol I'm sure most must have seen my post about my U2311H having a bright pixel. Just got my replacement today gotta say I'm thoroughly satisfied. Seemed better than my previous one as well. Very very minimal yellow tint and its 100% brand new. Whats more they just took the power cord, stand and monitor itself. I got to keep everything else from my old package. I don't think you can get this sort of service from any other brand at the moment. Excellent monitor with an excellent warranty package.
