guys what do you think of these 2 monitors?
23" Acer S231HL (LED, HDMI) 23" LG E2360T (LED, VGA/DVI) As what I've heard earlier, VGA is to transmit video and DVI for audio, while HDMI can transmit both in the same cable. But let's say the monitor doesn't come with built in speaker, so does that mean HDMI doesn't actually bring any extra unique benefit? |

QUOTE(TDUEnthusiast @ Apr 4 2011, 03:54 PM) I don't think that's what you call "ghosting", but rather artifacts. The GPU on your laptop might not be enough for such a large resolution. Sorry for confusing Can a Asus ENGTX 460 support 1080p resolution? And will VGA/DVI result in the graphic being displayed? Thank you |

QUOTE(wildwestgoh @ Apr 4 2011, 06:55 PM) Even integrated G945 graphics can support up to 1080p, the rest will depends on what you want to do with that resolution. It's Acer S231HL running on laptop graphic Mobile intelĀ® 965 Express Chipset Family with 384MB only.If you game with that resolution, GTX460 should be quite enough provide you don't go for current high-end game and select very-high details in-game. 23" from general view is always 1920x1080 but your graphics card might not able to detect the native resolution properly thus might gives you choice of up to 1920x1200, you might see distorted image or cropped image. You can post your monitor model here for much accurate analysis. |
