haha yeah if got manual i ok.. i like to pasang gundam last time muahaha..

so now the question is KDS 450 C / QS / SV is better and good for the long run?

or just straight go for ALIGN TREX 450.

I'll just stick to 4 channel for now. Wait and be content with my v911 while waiting for new 4 channel models to come out. sad.gif

i think they will say, get it and change the electronic... tongue.gif just my instinct.. haha... QIW, where are u... we need your opinion.. biggrin.gif
*
no, i won't say that. tongue.gif

i'm no sifu, so i don't really know the quality of the electronics on the KDS. but since it's a trex clone, it's quite a safe bet for the long run. heck, i think the belt CP is also quite a safe bet for the long run. sure the electronics aren't that good for 3D flying, but since the spare/upgrade parts are easily available EVERYWHERE, it'll definitely grow with your skill level too.

QUOTE(leroy87 @ Jun 5 2012, 11:25 PM)
itu yg tak shiok tu.. i nak RTF.. sometime i look at the spareparts, the amount of screws and all.. my god, i dont know i can pasang anything or not if any accident happen.. hantar kedai sure kana servis caj..
*
well to venture into CP you definitely need to have the setup skill. when a CP heli crash, you have to set it up again, not like an FP. that's the main reason i don't want to venture into CP yet. don't want to end up with a "white elephant".

QUOTE(zaku90 @ Jun 5 2012, 11:33 PM)
i like to assemble, but that if the manual is good enough for a beginner... haha.. biggrin.gif

i'm kinda a DIY guy myself, and i built gundams too, but CP heli still scares me sweat.gif . yes, i think the KDS is quite good for the long run, same as any other trex clone.

the thing with align is, they come with good parts to begin with. so if you get an RTF or ARTF trex, it can actually be cheaper on your budget, since you can remove all the mix n match problems.

well...you don't have to set everything up, just to make sure things are the way it's suppose to be e.g: blade pitch, servo linkage and stuff. more moving parts = more fiddling. it's inevitable. laugh.gif

So was quite rush. I also saw the Esky Training kit for Rm390. I think got 3 heli inside. Is that a good buy ah? drool.gif

Yeap. This is the one. Really not a lot of choice for 90deg FP 4 channels nowadays. They have tonnes of walkera. But prices start at Rm400+. And those people there is too busy to answer any of your questions. Especially for a noob like me. tongue.gif doh.gif

Any friendly hobby shop that i can walk into with good price?

EDIT: 400+ not 200+

the BHS is cool if you want to save money in the beginning. but you get what you pay for:
1. a coax that's similar to the lama v4. not bad to start with.
2. honey bee . not the v2, still it's quite ok. a little more fragile than the v2 though.
3. HBCP. like all CP with a tail motor, this won't really be that good in 3D flight.

it's on of those things that can grow with you, if you're on a budget.

Thanks for the input. After all, i think i'm going to get a 2nd hand Walkera Flybarless or HBFPv2 because they seem like the best choice at the moment.

PS: i found source for the cylindrical crystal for the V911. Ordered a few pieces. See if it works. biggrin.gif

suddenly i realised my v911 also got problem..
anyone experienced before.. the heli response is slower? for example when u put throttle down, after 1-2second onli the heli will have effect.. same goes as the direction stick.. response slower and not consistent.. anyone know whats the problem? tukar IC board?

I alrady changed to new set of TX battery.. problem still appear.. response seems slower and inconsistent on heli side.. transmitter all working well.. the red light keep on blinking.. but still able to recieve signal..

You have 8FG why you want T6J?
You have better charger why you want Align's charger?
You have 450 Pro why you want 450 Plus?

on that note, what are the differences in align's naming scheme anyway?
