Any other 4 channel models that are alike to the v911? FN models if i'm not mistaken. 2 blades instead of 4. Just bought a v911. Loving it.

QUOTE(leroy87 @ May 22 2012, 09:20 PM) check main gear? and also whether tail blade working properly? When buying that time i noticed slight vibration, but seller told me its ok. when i got back it was worst. Then changed to spare blade, vibration ok a bit. I asked the heli seller in Danau Kota(Nice guy BTW) he say don't care about it. It does not affect the heli. So my concern is not really a concern. Just see the thing shaking i no syok. FYI if tail blade is not tight enough (e.g u took out the blade and put it in back several times, though it might feel tight, but you will have vibration) have you crash it before that happens? About crashing it... Crashed it from the 2nd floor down to the ground floor coz wind blew when i play in my 2nd floor parking lot. Crashed down from a couple of trees. Crash on tarmac, bang into wall. Bag into car, bang underneath the car. bag roof x999 times. This is about all i can remember. Still flies ok. Vibration still there. |

QUOTE(QiW @ May 23 2012, 12:55 PM) that is called the TOILET BOWL EFFECT ... just like the water going in circles in toilet bowl or sink Actually i think the board has a safety cut off for maximizing battery lifespan.its a natural effect of most fixed pitch helis the bigger the heli the less prone u are to it to MINIMISE it ... try to cut out as much of the vibration as possible i have balanced my blades and flybar the best i can .. my 911 has very minimal TBE and can almost hover in a spot as for heli trimmings ... the 911 has a tail dependent on motor >> dependent on power of battery when battery drains .. the power distribution between front and back motor may differ compared to when it is full so u may experience minor drift towards the end of battery but dont play until the battery drain kow kow coz u will kill the lipo ... try to time your flights so that 3.7v or more remains after your flight Anymore bigger heli's that is like the 911? |

My 911 has failed.
Got red light but cannot bind to the radio. The red light is not blinking. Plug battery in, the light will blink for 2 seconds. Then it will remain lighted. Transmitter cannot bind. No servo nor motor function. |

Thanks for the tips. Any other models that are somewhat like the HB? Single bladed 4 channel? 2.4 preferably so i can use my v911's TX?
PS: after searching around, i found that my 911 has the receiver crystals damaged. Apparently not the first. Quite common around the world. The Danau Kota guy quoted me Rm48 to replace the board. Anyone knows any place that's cheaper? I can order in the part from HK which will cost me around US$14-15. But my soldering skills. |

The last 6-channel i got was a Raptor 30. Years ago. Never got passed the hovering. Got back into planes then stopped. Just want to kill some time without a steep learning curve.
So yeah. Enough 6 channels for me. |

I'm thinking of bringing in a bulk of the V911 helis.
Since that the average market price for it is Rm129 - Rm149, Maybe can get slightly cheaper la. Let me know your thoughts. Also planning to bring in just the heli it self as the TX rarely spoil. The heli however. |

QUOTE(power911 @ May 29 2012, 04:11 PM) pasar malam rc heli? something like Silverlit PicooZ? Get the v911 you won't regret it. I gave up on 6channels long time ago. Sometimes its just the joy of flying. No need to do 3D. not coaxial ones for sure. ccpm... seems close to real heli eh? kinda ok gua crashing these stuff since you wouldn't learn if you do not make mistake (kinda eyeing on Walkera V100D08, not sure if worth investing one... will wait for experts opinion, well just asking la~ I shall go with 911 then XD seems like a hotcake for me to buy and begin Maybe one of these days since those china 6 channels are cheap. EDIT: ![]() What model is this? Stated as Honey Bee IV but cannot seem to find any videos of it on YouTube. Any reviews and also what is the parts availability? thanks! QUOTE(zeroglyph @ May 29 2012, 07:46 PM) true, i'm just into this hobby because i like Heli sim game. no intention to do 3D flying, at least not yet. Do you recommend buying one of these now? Currently bidding for it on Lelong at Rm250 standing price including shipping. Apprehensive since i dunno the availability of parts.that is the honey bee 1st version (but with LiPo). not the updated honey bee v2. FP honey bee only goes up to V2. CP has a few version. the HBFPV2 is much tougher. EDIT UPDATE: Seller offer me to "upgrade to V2" Rm295 including shipping. Is that a good price? Thanks. QUOTE(zaku90 @ May 30 2012, 10:43 AM) tau, but the main thing is, the back end cap tercabut, then when i want to cap it back (before the wire putus) i play with it, it rotate like mad... like the motor is not connected... but later i'll try to save my V911, or else, i want to buy a tail motor from Hong Kong... LOL... anybody want to share with me?? myb for the battery also?? i got a spare one coming in if you're interested. QUOTE(Chongster @ May 30 2012, 11:00 AM) Hhahaha is that someone selling from Johor? I got the V1 from him without realising the v2. Then after that I got the v2 off someone else (2nd hand). Both still in store room as the v2 never really take off. Need time to troubleshoot it. How about the spare parts? Hard to find the spare parts now? I'm worried about that only. Just FB msg that abang from Danau Kota. He selling V2 for only Rm289.So who is getting the 911 in bulk? I am kind of interested Lucky din't buy from johor. Or are you willing to sell your V2 since its in the store room? |

not the antenna. According to sources online, its the receiver crystal. The small cylindrical thing next to what i would assume to be the gyro.
I'm getting a replacement board la. No point my 911 sit here gather dust also. By any chance you know anything about the honey bee V2's spare parts? Most of the online store i go to list the parts as "out of stock" is it hard to get stock? Want a bigger one to play with. 911 too darn small. |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ May 30 2012, 08:12 PM) well, as i mentioned earlier, spare part for any honey bee is hard to come by(FPv1 and FPv2 uses a lot of common parts). some shops have them, but most likely, not all parts. i've been trying to find after market blades for my HBFPV2 to no avail. i did however managed to get extreme main motor and direct drive motor for it in time square(where i bought the thing). Sound interesting. Anymore others that is like the HBFP models? I'm looking for one with 3rd party parts support and affordable for me to just play and forget about it. Esky seems to fit the description. Just that I'm about 2 years too late. the FPV2 is quite resilient to minor crashes. the stock blade is strong too. i bought a spare when purchasing my HB, but never had to replace it even after a 10ft outdoor crash into a tree knowing how to crash properly will definitely help saves on parts in this hobby. note however that the HB don't fly like the 911. it's more like a CP. constant input required even to hover. |
