Hehehehehe, preparing to invert
I am ah pek and very slow. Have some inverted flight training in sim but not progressing much. Plan to master in sim then only do that with real heli, I think crashing heli from inverted flight very hurt one, both to pilot and the heli ....... |

But i think u can afford that ... This post has been edited by daddoo: Nov 20 2010, 11:47 PM |

After upgraded the stronger nose gear now my propeller tip is about an inch plus plus only above the ground. It was about 2 inches before mod so hopefully it will be OK later on.

Not just that loh, the battery also using 11.1v 1200maH ONLY!!!
If that motor really so efficient to use so little power for a 500 size heli, I would not consider and buy straight already ....... |

Anyhow the build quality looks good from the photo, just hope that it will be selling cheaper .... then later on when I can spend more time again I can have an extra option since the Rx is for 2801Pro Tx ......

No, I don't really love my heli but I just love my money ....... huahahhahahahah
the belt loose because the tail boom loosen up and slip into the tail boom block? If that's the case there might be a super cheap solution. Some of them they will sand the boom's end to lock tight in the block but I found it not so effective and makes it more slippery. What I did last time was to put some transparent tape at the boom's end, the thickness you find out yourself but I only tape 1 piece around the tail boom. Now I think you can lock the tail boom back to the block without the belt first. Then try to pull your tail boom out gently, if it works for you then you may put your belt back. It is very hard to show you how I did but I think you will know once you started this mod. *** Test properly and handle carefully so that you don't break anything *** Hehehehe, I don't have this issue with me so probably I think it is not the heli's problem ..... maybe you should try to ask the previous owner if he knows anything about this This post has been edited by daddoo: Nov 24 2010, 09:07 PM |

Main gear? No .... unless I crashed and stripped it ........
You should learn to repair on your own now ... it's cheaper and more effective way to go. Just stay at the spot where you feel comfortable that I would say. Perodua kancil is economical so you can't ask too much from it. Everyone also know that BMW's car is more comfortable but different people has different need. |

The distance of wave propogation is not only decide by frequency, it will be decide by its amplitude as well, for example if the volume is loud enough you can hear both high and low frequencies but of course this time the low one will be stronger.
So the conclusion is if your 5.8GHz system is very high power (which consume more energy, more battery), it will do the job as well. |

Actually you don't need a lot of tools to dismantle the parts of BCP.
I use only 2 allen key sizes, 1 hex socket screw driver (to take out feathering shaft nuts), 1 cross head screw driver, plier and ball link plier. With this I can separate all the parts into single pieces. Except the ball link plier is slightly expensive, the rest are very cheap to look for from hardware shop. If I remember correctly, these tools cost me less than a hundred. Hehehehehe, I know you will not throw away your bcp and so do I. But if you really want to do so, let me know. Don't throw away, I am more than willing to pay for the postage and ship your rubbish to me This post has been edited by daddoo: Nov 26 2010, 02:39 PM |
