QUOTE(Davidyeong @ May 1 2012, 02:34 AM) get WL 911 fixed pitch or esky lama v3/v4, both below RM200 can get...perfect for beginner. but why here in the description it says trex100 is fixed pitch?? the 100,250 400 is heli size, trex 100 is 4channel fixed pitch helicopter and other is 6channel collective pitch helicopter. (correct me if i'm wrong) http://www.hobbysportz.com/helicopters/beg...?product_id=801 btw, is there a big difference in all 3 type to fly it?? coaxial, fixed and also collective pitch??? and if the heli size is different but it is using collective pitch, does it have any different in difficulties on flying it or any other things different?? edit: and what brand or model heli that is stable to fly outside?? and does clone heli has it bad side, meaning like easily broken parts and others?? thanks.. (sorry for so many question) This post has been edited by zaku90: May 1 2012, 12:06 PM |

QUOTE(QiW @ May 2 2012, 07:50 PM) not to mod radio or anything .. thanks man, myb i will get v911, just asking, where can get the cheapest?? just now i ask at 1 shop at time square, the cheapest i can get is RM130.... can find anymore cheaper or is this the cheapest??? all RF are susceptible to interference .. u just need to make sure the RF link between u and your aircraft is as good as it can get losing RF link = losing control of aircraft .. things can get bad if that happens most brands have their own algorithm code on this RF transmission to best convey the data from radio control to the receiver/aircraft .. some are better than others ya .. just get the 911 if u wanna start heli .. i have flown it for 2 days and i am doing circuits thru posts and trees etc etc .. hahahaha super ez and almost crash proof |

QUOTE(Davidyeong @ May 2 2012, 11:21 PM) Mode 1 Left side is rudder and elevator, right side is throttle and Aileron. owh, just asking, usually all of you using which kind of setup for advance flying, because i'm thinking to go for serious later... Mode 2 Left side is Throttle and rudder, right side is elevator and aileron. most of the V911 come with Mode 2, but still got some seller selling Mode 1. |

QUOTE(zeroglyph @ May 3 2012, 09:37 AM) coaxial= easy to fly, self stabilizing nice info there man, thank you very much, it does help me clarify all things.. fixed pitch (w/ 45 degree flybar)= flies just like a coax, self stabilizing fixed pitch (w/ 90 degree flybar) = flies like a collective pitch but simpler to setup Collective pitch= able to do acrobatics and more agile. harder to setup heli size generally dictates the responsiveness. bigger helis are less responsive but are more wind resistant, smaller helis, vice versa. a CP heli has better chances flying in the wind. a 300+ size FP/coax have a better chance in the wind than the smaller ones. between 8-10 i'd say most remotes, you can just swap the potentiometer to change mode. some (like esky ET4), you only need so exchange the retention spring and flick a switch. note that the mode you fly, depends on the 1st mode you use. so if you want to use mode 2, start with mode 2. else, it's not that easy to change later because it's muscle memory (i know, i've tried). so although most remotes can swap from 1 mode to the other, you won't. so pick a mode to fly in a stick with it. depends on the design i guess. but logic wise, swapping the potentiometer would work for most remotes. not so sure on the higher end remotes though. |
