Same here so I think it is normal. My quad also can hover about half throttle. Might be changing the ESC timing to middle and check again. At this moment I am using low timing for the Plush ESC.

Hehe, the other day got someone boating around the lake and rescued a plane hor?

my hometown at  trengganu and once a month i will be in KL and mostly fly alone in my hometown . i able fly figure 8 helicopter with trex450.is it good enough to fly fpv quadcopter.I read a review about  naza it's reputable controller so why you not recommend it.can you briefly comment about this naza weakness.

I owned a Naza before. I never piloted a real RC heli (just learned how to hover and simple forward flight in simulator, but I suck still). So I bought a Naza. Flying it was super easy as it have an auto level and ATT mode. The auto level works ok, but sluggish at times, so I changed from 10" to an 8" prop to get better response. Going into manual mode is much more fun, however it's too 'wild' for my liking (the auto mode too sluggish, the manual mode too wild).

It served me as a good start-up FC. When it works, it works ok. However when there's problem with it, better hold on to your multicopter as it can just fly off into the sky and may never return back again (multiple incidents with this, even with our local flyers). And oh yes, naza likes to 'flip' all of a sudden as well (also reported by local flyers and seen with my own eyes - and too many with bro QiW eyes..laugh.gif).

GPS add on? Jumpy auto land.. even in grass.

Nothing wrong with getting one. I'm just listing down the pros and cons that I've experienced with it.

Check out my youtube channel for some FPV Naza. smile.gif

Get a sky surfer or cloud fly.
This fits your criteria.
I owned a sky surfer before, flew and glided until I can't feel my legs.. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif
