Yeah, quite bad, because i always on rush, not a calm driver, my daily drive must be 3K rpm above..

One thing you will notice soon, in hot sunny day, car will feel so lagging, especially when trapped inside jam, cause of hot air, this will noticeable by someone who shift from lower cc car to this big cc car.

Its a performance air filter, better than stock, and serviceable.

i've personally had close frens with satria, neos, GTi's & 1 civic eg stolen before.

I agree honda seems "hotter" than others, but due to the nature of relationship between lancer & inspira, i assume it will be a hotter car to to target for thieves mainly due to demand for parts (remember GTi's are hot cars because there'e demand for it from normal satrias GTi wannabes  )
eg: inspira wants lancer parts like bodykits, etc while maybe lancer wants the manual tranny, just an example lah 
ok back to topic, somehow cobra connex seems steep, an extra 1000+ than Captor, but they have compensation guarantees

Btw, i suggest dont go for Captor, u cannot claim unless your car is totally lost, if you found your car but only left chasis and engine, seat gone, player gone, rims gone, spoiler gone, that you have to bear your own cost, cannot claim insurance.

Dont say I say, after all go after me, its what they claim. Warranty void issue not sure, not like you modified the intake to become open pod type, but you'll never know, again depends on service centers, I think I will go to outside authorized service centers for my services during the warranty period, wont be going to PE SC after reading so many bad experiences.

It is attached to gear lever, ppl can only steal by either remove the whole gear console or tow the car away.

i see... unfortunately, no such vouchers for me.. dunno about jychow though..

hence why captor's cheaper 

but connex has partnerships with honda, toyota, nissan & merc so their price is acceptable. But i don't know how much is it for other car makes 
my number 1 concern is anti theft, you can youtube, so many "pros" out there. if we can't stop them, at least we can get our cars back *touchwood*

well, in essence, standard airfilter are cheaper & made from paper..K&N is made from other materials (cotton,etc) in which it claim to have more efficient filtering properties & improved performance..and it is washable (with its cleaning kit)..rm530 is wayyyy to much...should be on average around rm350...

All these while I will go to my usual workshop for servicing, but with this new car, need to find another good authorized SC nearby my place, dilemma also.

K&N filter uses wire mesh with filtering oil, not cotton. It is washable, but need to re-oil back after washing. Cleaning kit is about RM70 or you can go to Speedworks for service (less than RM10). AFAIK, the best filtering is still the stock ones, but the air restriction is the worst. For best deals on K&N, try searching for Kangyoon at Automotive Garage subforum.

I use simota. claims to be on par with K&N. material seems the same to me. maybe others can comment also. use it for my satria which will soon gonna be trade-in for Inspira  .

K&N around 240. i get simota only 150. and it's not even bulk order.  .

1 more thing. my car gets better pick-up but more roaring effect ...
