my diy lmde xfce.. stripped it down by removing all gnome related and installed xfce. even replaced gdm with slim
now its really fast without gnome bloated stuff |

Fedora 12 at that time...before doing a clean install of Fedora 13 a month later... |

now i need guidance for installed base Linux on this laptop . might be going for LinuxMint since it looks nice and attracts me with the GUI features . any taiko can teach me bit by bit ? |

eh wait . im thinking of going for uBuntu 10.10 . good choice or not ? if want to install do i have to burn to a CD or something ? cause currently d win7 on the laptop rosak edi . cannot boot at all . gotta do fresh installment . |
