btw, your proc temp is quite high  sweat.gif

72 C O.O abit high

yes, its wayyy too high.. when using linuxmint 9 and ubuntu 10.04 my temp is steady at 50c-60c... now with linuxmint debian its always spiking at 75c, and once it got to 80c sweat.gif
apparently i've got issue with acpi.. it dont load successfully upon boot. i've tried everything including using custom kernel but with no success, still spiking at 75c, sweat.gif
further reading and googling, i've came across a way.. its just as simple as adding
CODE
acpi_osi="Linux"

on grub kernel line and it solve my issue successfully.. now my temp is just 55c-65c.. funny how just a line of code can make a huge difference tongue.gif tongue.gif

i'll paste the output in Linux/BSD/FOSS General Chat & FAQ. i would be thankful if this issue can finally be solved

just found out how to do this. usually gnome menu icon is located in /usr/share/icons/yourthemename
search for file named start-here.png or start-here.svg and replace it with ur preferred icon with the same name nod.gif

Wanna ask ~ rolling release is meant by everyday heavy updates or ??? rclxub.gif
*
not really heavy update, overall just between 10-20 updates everyday..
that if u use lmde with sid's repo like me tongue.gif .. i think lmde with default squeeze repo will just get 5-10 updates everyday hmm.gif
