QUOTE(powerwoot @ Dec 23 2010, 06:18 AM) QUOTE(cocooh @ Dec 23 2010, 06:51 AM) yes, its wayyy too high.. when using linuxmint 9 and ubuntu 10.04 my temp is steady at 50c-60c... now with linuxmint debian its always spiking at 75c, and once it got to 80c apparently i've got issue with acpi.. it dont load successfully upon boot. i've tried everything including using custom kernel but with no success, still spiking at 75c, further reading and googling, i've came across a way.. its just as simple as adding CODE acpi_osi="Linux" on grub kernel line and it solve my issue successfully.. now my temp is just 55c-65c.. funny how just a line of code can make a huge difference |
