Well , im curious how everyone customize their Linux or Ubuntu other than Windows and Mac blink.gif

Here's how i customize :

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Customize using Ambience Theme + Faenza Variance + Covergloobus 1.7.4 + Banshee + Docky (Deep Docky 3D theme) (for desktop edition) biggrin.gif

And a beautiful Ayumi Hamasaki Wallpaper rclxms.gif

Rules :

1.For big size screenshots , please include a spoiler for them nod.gif

2.If spoiler is not an option , try resizing your screenshots before posting them nod.gif

Here are some links contributed by our LYN members for the breathtaking desktop customization links . rclxms.gif

LOL. Not much to customize actually  tongue.gif

1. Install Nautilus Elementary from their PPA

CODE
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:am-monkeyd/nautilus-elementary-ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
nautilus -q

2. Install Conky and use the pre-set config from http://www.webupd8.org/2010/11/3-beautiful...igurations.html

3. Replace your Gnome Panel with AWN. Tutorial from this article http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2010/09/how-to-...anels-with-awn/

Btw that only local IP. No harm displaying it  cool2.gif
