I'm quite confused now. Our legend will never get Gingerbread officially from HTC, let alone Honeycomb. HD2 is a legend man! A hacker's dream. I will be running WP7 dual boot with android on my HD2, if I get it la.

I gotta agree with andrekua and say now is the absolute worst time to buy a new(ish) phone. With the phones already announced at CES plus the boatload that will be shown at MWC next month, it's almost guaranteed you'll spot something you wish you'd waited for instead.

If can tahan, hold off on buying (although you should still sell your Legend now if you're planning to, cos value will also fall further once those phones are announced) and wait for the inevitably more powerful hardware.

I was too impatient so I went and got a Milestone to play with in the meantime

Of course, if you don't plan to drop big bucks on a new phone anyway, then yeah, the HD2 is a nice interim.

been so bz wanna sh*t also no peace.. cny around the corner have to rush so many things out.

my case is this, my gf now is on the way to "jadi harta" my phone real soon..... keeps on logging on fb,email, playing games (angry birds), tagging music on shazam.. u guys know what i mean right.

So this means, its either me change phone (leaning on a Desire HD) or me getting her a Red Legend for Valentine's Day if there is any left. Anyone can direct me who sells and the market price for it? Dont mind 2nd hand also. will check soon on the Garage Sales section

I've seen some on mudah.my. Both use same phone more romantic what.

Haven't seen a red one for some time already.. Last time I saw one in the garage sales section was a seller from kota kinabalu

It's already hard to find a normal one, finding a red one would be even harder. Why not get something new for yourself then? Perhaps a DZ?

Build quality is sort of their forte here, just look at your Legend for example.

ops, my bad.. wrong choice of words. They are built good just there are couple of little things, power button are known to sink in on the Legend. Well it might be just me who feels abit like this.

Yeah, can't agree more.

It's such a shame that HTC did such a weak job with the buttons on the Legend after giving such an amazingly gorgeous case... almost feels like they hit the budget limit after speccing the alu-unibody and Amoled screen, and then decided to cheap out on the rest.

Now I think of it.. Yes, they suck at one part, buttons.

Look around XDA and you see quite a few complaints. For example, the HD2 has many complaints about the menu buttons breaking quite fast. As well as the Nexus One's power button issue.

Maybe the button suckage is intentional and part of HTC's strategy of built-in obsolescence

I would say get her a same phone...

I learned from my wife... become Nokia Ranger and was given Nokia N8 and C7 for testing...

Guess which she chooses... the higher end model, N8...

the thought of somewhat please them i guess. I'm leaning to a brand new phone actually (jump model), then again after CES showcases... I am like prob will wait and see for new phones to be out first.

Maybe I sud try spraying it red and see how it goes. if I screw it up, will just pass it to her

oh ya, does anyone has this issue? When I check my gmail using HTC gmail, it sends out 2 same email replies, weird la, like spambot

Hey guys i decided to root my legend.My legend current version is stock froyo 2.2 is it possible to use visonary + to permanant root my phone?or i still need to create gold card all soft of stuff?Help needed!!

Guess what? I found and bought a Red Legend.....

We were at a mall and there was a HTC store there some how planned it to be to she would walk right in and test the phones there.
FOund out that DHD is too big for her liking, Wildfire, Aria screen aint smooth enough for her and too small... She was leaning to the Desire then asked if Legend was still for sale. you guys know the answer..

So yeah I bought one 2nd hand unit since she said she aint too techie and would not bother with apps.. but 1st thing i gotta do is install swype for her lol!
