Guys, any of you suffer deteriorate calls when you use the stock handsfree?? fark man!
today i notice when I plug it in, other side keeps on saying eh something noisy la in the background/ cant hear me... or am i the only one?? music is fine just calls are screwd

i am new to rooting for HTC legend and need some help.

I have created the gold card for my HTC Legend and would like to install CM6.1 ( i downloaded update-cm-6.1.0-Legend-signed.zip from team douche)

there seem to be 2 ways how to rooting legend

[HOWTO] Rooting your Legend! Guide from MoDaCo!
[HOWTO] DOWNGRADE to 1.31 which you can then root for Legend 2.1

which one should i follow or is both methods the same...??

Not the same, kemosabe, you're confusing your apples with your doughnuts.

[HOWTO] DOWNGRADE to 1.31 which you can then root for Legend 2.1 <--- This step DOWNGRADES your 2.05 ROM to the 1.31 version so that you can root. You may not need this if your phone is still on the 1.31 ROM.

[HOWTO] Rooting your Legend! Guide from MoDaCo! <--- This step ROOTS your now downgraded and rootable 1.31 ROM

Check to see what version ROM you're running. Then proceed accordingly.

Settings > About phone > Software version.

If you're on version 1.31 then you proceed straight to rooting.

If you're on version 2.05 then downgrade first, then proceed to rooting.

htc legend can save & open file for pdf,work,power point etc

Are you using the stock USB cable? If not, try it.

If yes, try a different USB cable.

I've tried stock cable and nokia cable.

Try different USB ports.

I've tried all 3 ports already. Is there a problem with my goldcard? I flashed RUU 1.31 from 2.05 no problem with the same goldcard.

If you suspect it might be, maybe make a new one? Takes but a sec and you can eliminate one more cause.

Other than that, no more ideas from me

UGH. I hate making goldcards, so troublesome. Looks like I have no choice, I'll try it now. Thanks!

EDIT: I made a goldcard many months ago, can I just use that or do I have to make a new one?

Use the goldcard tool; it works, it's fast, it's easy.

Doesn't work for me. It find can't the code for my phone.
