for those who can't find a market in their rom, go http://scl.wsnet.ru/files/android/ to get the gapps

the gapps-cfyz-signed.zip only comes with market and gmail, good if you prefer something lighter; am using it on cyan 6.1

One question, my phone is AP from I-don't-know-where, but I used Asian RUU on it before. So do I have to wait I-don't-know-where to get their froyo before I get it?

I keep getting a "size mismatch" error when I try to download the 1.31 Asia RUU from Shipped ROMS.

Anywhere else I can get a hold of it?

The update is released based on your firmware version if im not mistaken. If you're using ASIAN/SEA rom, you'd probably get it when we get ours too.

Anyone got update yesterday? I received 2.05.405.2 yesterday.

x.xx.405.x isn't asian rom if im not mistaken. Asian region has x.xx.707.x. If i'm not mistaken la.

Desire HD is already on Digi's SmartPlan, RM1,399 for 24mth lock-in.

But screw HTC and they're slow-as-a-three-legged dog updates, I'm not buying any more of their crap.

Got sick of waiting for HTC. Rooted and flashed to Vodafone ROM.

This way, I get the update AND I can be sure I'll get Gingerbread if and when the modders hack it up.

I have a problem rooting. Step1 windows.bat takes a very very long time to write zip.

Something's gone wrong then. The whole process took me less than 10 minutes.

It took me longer to downgrade to the 1.31 ROM.
