same here...i thought gingerbread minimum requirement is 1ghz ?

Aiyo, keep listening to them you will go mad faster.

Smartphone and computer are same. You got the hardware and only need the OS to run them. MS also keep saying we need more speed and ram etc, but we do not need eye candy do we? Atom was once considered not fit for Windows but look at it now. Its just a simple balancing act. Maybe it will slow down the phone but hey, we got from the ok Eclair to snappy Froyo therefore, I dont think its that bad to trade back some speed for some of Gingerbread features. Besides, Gingerbread is just a small step, from 2.2 to 2.3 nia. Honeycomb is the big jump to 3.0.

Big problem. I think I just brick my legend.

Writing zip took a long time then it failed.

I pulled out the usb and now I can't on it anymore.

SOLVED: I used a nokia USB cable to connect my phone to comp (BIG MISTAKE). Battery died, so couldn't turn on the phone. PHEW! rclxm9.gif

Has anyone tried talking on a phone call with their legend while it is charging?
I just got an electrical shock twice from the speaker while using it!

Also, does anyone have problems with their FM radio while charging? My FM radio has severe interference if i leave it plugged in.

I've tried rooting my legend again but this time I have a little problem.

Step 1 zip file is taking a very very long time to write, after that I get a failure. I didn't experience this problem when I tried rooting long time ago.

Any help?

better get it to HTC now. when a device give u electric shock, must be something wrong with it. don't wait until its too late. if the phone get damaged still ok (though not so fine) but u dont wanna get electric burnt or something worse coz of it. smile.gif

Better take it back to HTC. Last time there was a guy who charged his phone on his bed while sleeping, the phone exploded and he died.

No problem. Before you send it in, just don't charge it overnight and don't put it too close to you while charging. Phones were made to serve us, not blow us up. whistling.gif
