I am really having a hard time to keep track of the episode of the TV series recorded from the Byond PVR. Why Astro does not state the episode # in the programme description? I found that all the episodes, at least for the Three Kingdoms, are all having the same description (info). How do I know it's which episode and whether it's a repeat or not..

The model is P63C7000. Tried with blu ray 3D and even with 3D gaming already. Just that the Astro one is not working. Cant set the tv to side by side 3D. The option is there but I can't switch to it

If you have subscribed to HD services then your HDMI port is turn on.

i dont subscribe HD channel, so, i cant using HDMI? i just want get better picture by using HDMI

U can use HDMI if u don't subscribe to HD service.

Astro management will say that it's a love-hate relationship, so they don't bother about valid customer complaints.

when i plug my HDMI cable between decoder and my LCD and i t display no signal, i check at System Version, HDMI OFF

Sorry typo... should be you can't use HDMI cable if you don't subscribe to HD service.

Is this just my TV or what? cause some SD channels are like vibrating..

Please help me sifu..i had received sms from beyond installer..he want to install my decoder tomorrow...but he want to charged me $400..is it the standard installation fee for exsisting astro user to upgrade their beyond?

after i check from astro website..astro said astro will give discount $100 if i returned the older decoder..but my installer said that he will not take my older decoder & i need to pay him $400..wtf?

Then phone astro and request for another installer. He should take back the old decoder.

Ass throw is getting rogue to be the installer.. Ass throw boleh.. U don't have to pay a cent to the installer. RM300 will be charged in your account and be reflected in your bill.

With the contract for Byond coming to an end for the early adopters of Byond, I'm sure many will think about cutting the HD services. I know I will be thinking about that, if there are no signs of new HD channels from Astro

It's off because you did not subscribe to HD packages. only Astro can switch it on.

Added on February 11, 2011, 10:18 amRM 400 is IINM the price to pay if you upgrade to PVR and decide not to return your old box.

If you return your old box to him you'll get RM100 discount. So only RM300

If you are upgrading to the vanilla B.yond box and decided to return the box, the normal RM100 installation charge will be waived since you get RM100 discount

I suggest you call Astro CS and complain about this Installer.

I'm not sure about the charge to be reflected in our bill. But in my experience, it's payable to the installer.

guys, anybody tried recording astro first movies? can it be recorded?

No point to record because after 2 days you purchased, the one that you record cannot be watched. Some more, the movies will be repeated every 2 hours so you watch almost anytime
