when can we get StarWorld HD?

I already waited one month and still no one come and fix. any idea how to speed it up?

We were waiting for discovery HD prior to Starworld HD and we are still waiting !!

Assthrow doesn't have enough bandwidth for HD la.. Given to Assthrow 1st and Assthrow Sport 3D already..

I registered online and waited for 1 week but nothing.
today i called astro customer service and they said already assigned installer for me.
i called the installer and he said will come to install it tomolo.. i hope he do come tomolo..

seriously? They have Sky Sports HD and Sky Sports News HD? I THought these 2 channels were only for the UK..u have the source for this info? Wanna check it out..

I think this is a clear case of never trust everything u read on Wikpedia..or can any of our Singapore friends prove me wrong and can confirm whether StarHub has 26 channels like Wiki says instead of the 15 like it says on the official StarHub website..?

Where are the 8 hd channels for basic subscribers ? You think most people are rich to subscribe to sports, movie and dynasty ?

Once Ass throw adds Disney HD, Discovery HD, star world HD, Fox HD then it is worthwhile subscribing HD.

Correct me if I'm wrong but he never said anything about 8 chnls being in Family Pack. The 8-9 channels are this that he subscribe to. Sorry if you or other people are not rich enough to subscribe to sports or movie or even the mini packs. But HD TV contents are not a necessity item where companies or govt are suppose to give them for free. it's a luxury item as far as Malaysian are concerned.

If you think it's not worthwhile, just f***ing unsubscribe it. Astro is not going to listen to our complaints if we are still going to pay RM20 each and every month. They won't budge if they don't feel the pinch of getting less money.

I respect those who are going to unsubscribe their HD coz they think it's not worth their money. That is what I'd do as well if I don't feel that something is not worth my money. Not like certain people who hate to pay RM20 but still continue pay. You know, like people who hate their wife like crazy but still to afraid to live without them.

Unfortunately free Astro isn't in the United Nation Declaration of Human Rights together with free Abalone, free Starbucks coffee, free BMW, free petrol, free travels and free everything.

Friend, I think Astro fare is just like those wives we just cannot live without them !! We hv also to see this way ,those who just take family pack end up paying another RM20 for just for 5 rojak channels, I still feel its unfair there shld not be HD fees.

You missed my point. My point is, you will not die if there are no Astro, unlike food and housing etc. So Astro is considered a 'luxury' item and nobody is forcing you to watch it. If you want to watch, you pay. But there should be competition

If you think RM 20 is way too expensive, then just unsubscribe it or don't subscribe.

No point complaining, they is no free meal in this world.

Those say not everyone is rich and no money on it is rubbish, if you are poor enough then stick to your current CRT TV, even your current CRT TV is spoil, then buy another CRT TV (I believe it can save a lot for you and put in more important things which can feed you - food). Means while unsubscribe your Astro package, as if money is concern, a normal antenna Free TV channel is well enough.

HD is luxury thing and is not a must to get, it just extra for better entertainment but not important / a must have in life.

You can paid HDTV price, means you can afford that little RM 20 for HD source. If you can't, no one is forcing you upgrade to HDTV and wait for HD source FOC.

If you want to an earlier bird test, sometimes extra expenses is needed. HD is not common yet for now in Malaysia or a lot of countries in the world, wait till it became common, every channel will be HD and FOC or as it suppose price. (or move to Japan now, Japan now is 100% all channel in HD and FOC).

Sometimes video quality on HBO and Star Movie amaze me.
Almost close to bluray quality if ur eyes are not so picky.

Then only thing missing is subtitle !

If you cannot afford Astro packages how did you manage to pay for HD TV?. Mummy's bank A/C ?
