Hi guys,
I couldn't get yesterday's Chelsea vs Liverpool game on 3D to work on my Samsung 3DTV. I know its a side by side 3D format, but I can't seem to get my TV to change it to side by side format. I can see the side by side option in my tv but I can't change to it. I got a feeling thats because the TV doesn't detect any source of 3D content. Any idea whats wrong? is it because of the decoder?

how about 3D glasses? That's important too. hmm.gif

U just terminate Byond and keep those SD channels? If so, yes, you can keep the set but without hdmi output.

HDMI port will be disabled once you terminate the HD service. So, you cant view sd channels with hdmi output.

The advancement of technology at times screws us up to !! Maybe one day Johoreans may not get all those FTA singapore channels ! Our side was never friendly with them. TV3 is not availiable over there and TV3 uses the same UHF band here in Johor to interfere with thier Suria channel to stop locals here from watching their malay channel but so far they hv not blocked thier reception over here ! Thats Singapore ! flex.gif

Hello all, am deciding on byond now. Quick question - can I have the decoder connect to a second tv (in room) like what I am doing now with old decoder? I run cables from the decoder in living room downstairs to the room upstairs now.am just thinking bout the yards of HDMI cables that will be needed if it's at all possible...any tips? Thanks!

podrunner, my advice is hold on to order on the crappy astro Byond before you regret it! The new units are all vulnerable for breaking down!

My cousin has seen hills of faulty units laying around at local astro store room. I am not too sure bout WMsia quality but some has said those we received here in Kch are mostly low grades. Even the local installers suggesting waiting for newer version to come.

BTW, how is your home theater system getting along, any upgrades lately? Do you listen to your audiolabs often?

Ok, will hold off first then. I was just tempted by the new Food Network channels. My HT system is still the same..no upgrades or additions, and have NOT been enjoying it for a while. Have been out of town, busy. Re audiolabs, yes if on audio source. smile.gif

What is the model name of your Samsung 3DTV? Have you ever try your 3DTV with 3D player e.g. Bluray 3D and does it working? I'm sure you have tried this when you bought TV last time.
