My Byond PVR HDMI output was diabled since last week. I am still able to watch the HD channels on analog out. Called up the Astro CS a couple of times and was told that they are performing system migration and my account was deactivated for the HDMI out. They are still working on trying to activate back my HDMI output but do not know when it can happen. I am really curious. Is this possible? Anyone else having this problem?

That's what I thought. To me it is quite obvious it is my Byond PVR hardware problem, but the CS insisted that it's Astro side problem. Can someone confirm if this can be done, i.e. the HDMI output can be disabled by Astro over the air while the HD channels are still available on analog outputs?

The Astro CS even tried to call me back this afternoon, I thought they were calling to tell me the problem was solved, but instead telling me it's Astro problem again and they are still working on it. I did ask for waiver but was told to call back to request for waiver after the problem is resolved later because they do not know how long it's going to be. Why can't they just stop my HD charges instead of having me to request them for waiver again later?? I tried to argue with them but at the end I gave up.. What else can I do, short of canceling the subscription? So frustrated..

You should use HDMI splitter and HDMI extender if you intend to watch HD on both TVs.

No problem, you can do it with a HDMI splitter.

Oh, that's even easier. Just connect the HDMI to your TV in living hall and the composite out (yellow) to your room. You can indeed watch both TVs at the same time.

Ch338 is Zhi Zun HD preview shown in SD. Ch310 is the real Zhi Zun channel in HD. I don't subscribe to Dynasty package so I don't get ch310 normally. However I thought all HD subscribers are supposed to get ch310 for free 3-17Feb? Can somesone confirm this because I still can't get the ch310 currently? Thanks.

That's what I understood. However till now I am still not able to view 310 (I am HD but non Dynasty subscriber with Byond PVR). Just want to know if any non-Dynasty subscriber is able to watch 310 now?

I am really having a hard time to keep track of the episode of the TV series recorded from the Byond PVR. Why Astro does not state the episode # in the programme description? I found that all the episodes, at least for the Three Kingdoms, are all having the same description (info). How do I know it's which episode and whether it's a repeat or not..
