QUOTE(BlueBerry~ @ Jan 22 2011, 04:34 PM) Order customized double shot from GH. Vote for your preference.Added on January 23, 2011, 1:57 pm QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Jan 22 2011, 11:06 PM) The only option that fir in the budget will be BlackWidowExpert. Include Noppoo Choc Mini as well, save space. If you want to import from Taiwan then Ducky 1008 will be a better option(NKRO, 4extra keys and more choice of switches). It should cost less than RM 280(incluse postage) and buy more will be cheaper. Added on January 23, 2011, 1:59 pm QUOTE(Cyclonechuah @ Jan 22 2011, 11:50 PM) agreed with both above. True, thats why I changed all my Razer stuff. Thats true that Razer's QC is suck. Built quality not as good as most of any other. The only keyboard that is 300 below will be Blackwidow Expert. All Keyboard that are from foreign country are with better quality and sturdy durable exterior and interior.(no offense to Razer fans) are mostly RM300 Above. Added on January 23, 2011, 1:59 pm QUOTE(lucidlts @ Jan 23 2011, 01:41 AM) i've red a review of DK-9008 on geekhack: Moogle's ducky is shield with diamond, so damn expensive.-Can be used as a personal defence weapon and shield ROFL. Anyway, anyone tried on G3000 from PLU before? This post has been edited by jasmineivan: Jan 23 2011, 01:59 PM |

Well, from what i felt, it's more like a jackpot or lottery purchase, if you're lucky, you'll get something like a very good quality keyboard without having some problem at all.But if you're unlocky, you'll gonna go into a RMA Lottery again, praying they give you a better keyboard, or you'll gonna RMA again and again and again. Btw, Latest News from Leopold is that The Keyboard will be arriving at Malaysia At the end of February. Might be available to you guys at March. I'll try to contact few shop or sellers here to consider selling Leopold Keyboard... I'll try to confirm the date and give you guys more information by that time. |

Any keyboards that allow the user to remove/detach the keys in one go for easy cleaning? Been using the generic/cheap keyboards so far, would like to get a much decent one but just wondering if there's such a type of keyboard or not.

Actually razer shouldn't have problem with the switch I thought? Since they outsource from the same place as other keyboards. Unless they have a very bad mounting mechanism.
I blacklisted razer for their dying Krait on me, worse is when they think it's perfectly normal for a mouse to stop working after 13 months (12 months warranty period past). And I am not being the isolated case here. Other than marketing I dont see their strength in other area, being bling (which I hate), gaming peripheral (I use office production hardware due to their comfort nature), and useless feature (which they charge you sky high for it). Currently I am so happy with my ducky 9008 that I feel like finding something type everyday. I would buy additional keyboard to serve for my other desktop but due to the steep price is better to buy it later (maybe I won't be able to hold that when Cherry Red Keyboards are around). My parents eyes were rolling when they help me to carry the RM400+ ducky keyboard from Singapore. As well as my relatives and uncle aunties, cant explain what is so special about my keyboard. Just tell them it's like a mechanical watch vs a electrical watch! |

Hi, I have narrowed down my mechanical keyboard choices down to the "Majestouch" Filco with Brown cherry switches and the Steelseries 6G v2.
What do the experienced users think about each keyboard? And which one should I purchase as my first mechanical keyboard? I play mostly RTS games, and some RPG. |

Unlikely that will happen in mechanical keyboards, because each of the keys are put in individually, that's why you get such good quality for each key pressed.Added on January 24, 2011, 3:03 pmHmm... QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Jan 24 2011, 04:02 PM) Try to widen it up again? kinda worried about the warranty etc if imported though...Ducky 1008 should be a good choice too for full size kb yet below RM300(import). It come with NKRO, mix choice of switch and 4 extra keys(calculator) which is quite worth to get. By putting other switch choice and macro in i am willing to pay RM600(or double of what BWU cost) for it. besides never imported anything before =( |

Haha the only strong point BWU have is the macro, minus it's just another Razer Marketing Product, off course it's the most affordable and available mechanical keyboard now. Warranty wise mostly you would have void it with many weird mods most people here did with.p/s: can we have LYN Mechanical Keyboard Gathering for a start? I believe it will serve as a dark hole to attract many into never ending side. |

Most people i tell about my keyboard is like, there are 5 dollar keyboards what the f. but then again most of these people aren't that tech savy so they don't get it So i guess since pc isn't such a big deal or huge part of their lives then no point trying to explain to them. You'd just put yourself in an awkward position. The best way i justified my purchase of a vintage cherry keyboard was by linking this 775 USD ebay bid on a keyboard. Even the not so tech savy people can understand the collectible worth of some of these keyboards http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...RK%3AMEWAX%3AIT QUOTE(badtooth @ Jan 24 2011, 05:13 PM) Say I am prepared to pay the higher price for the Filco and Steelseries, and besides they are both available in the warehouse instead of Ducky1008, which should I go for?
