The TVS is actually not bad for people under a budget and want to squeeze the best out of every last drop of their money.
The looks is quite a turn off to me though. |

Though I doubt they can produce really high quality mech keyboards simply because they focus so much on gaming they don't care the core of mech keyboards - typing feel and quality.
I mean... Just look at BW |

QUOTE(storm88 @ Oct 24 2010, 11:59 AM) AHAH.. I'm definitely interested if the price is interesting! How much do you think the price can go down if it is brought directly to Malaysia? I think got around RM80?I'm in the mid of disucssing bring in Falco into MY would there be supporter here? btw, base on the Experience i have here, jus would to quote alittlebit Gaming Keyboard is hard to determine. Some people claim Mechanical is Gaming. While some not mechanical they claim them gaming as well. As someone here mentioned, It depend on how the marketing team of the company definie their product. for me i define cherry keyboards as : SEMI GAMING, SEMI PRO USER. That's all |

I'm personally more interested in Cherry Blue switches, but it would be great if I can try both Blue and Brown personally. I will most likely not like Black since I mostly type, not hardcore gaming.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Oct 27 2010, 01:49 AM) By the way if anyone wants to do a Filco Majestouch NKRO (blue or brown only) MO, i know who you should ask about this Do? You mean personally buy or do a bulk?Just let me know and i can forward you to the respective contact. The price would be roughly same as the Ducky 9008 should you import to Malaysia. |

Problem with stuff like cyberclean is that it doesn't clean those dirts trapped underneath the keys. Eventually we'll need to find a way to clean those dirts. I would prefer not to take out inidividual keys and clean it.
Any ideas? |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Oct 28 2010, 12:39 AM) Beautiful keyboard. Hm blueish leds hm :} Why is compressed air dangerous?Compressed cans of air isn't environmentally good, also can be dangerous if used incorrectly. I think something like a mini blower like this is more economical although not as strong as cans of compressed air. http://www.shophsg.com/turboair.html |

One thing I like about Ducky is the Black on Black keys, they look really really good.
Meanwhile, Filco only has standard White alphabets or totally blank keys. Added on October 28, 2010, 11:02 pm QUOTE(storm88 @ Oct 28 2010, 09:18 PM) how many? enough to cover malaysia's demand of course. You're bringing Filco to major retailers in Malaysia? Really?!You would find their price at local stores like Czone, Viewnet, etc or some online reseller soon This post has been edited by xcen: Oct 28 2010, 11:02 PM |

RM300+ for Majestouch seems VERY reasonable. Might consider to buy it earlier than planned.

Check the thread or at least just check storm88's post in this thread man.planning to buy it from some Taiwan website. will cost around RM479 (Keyboard + Blank Keys + Shipping) Wonder if storm88 will bring it in anytime soon? he's a dealer ? Added on November 8, 2010, 12:10 pmBtw storm88... Please don't exclude Blue switches. As proven from market it is actually very popular among many people. QUOTE(D.Sync @ Nov 8 2010, 02:29 PM) Well using crappy membrane keyboard I can only have an avg WPM of 120. It would definitely make a difference if I used a mechanical keyboard. Maybe, maybe not. Membrane keyboards aren't bad at WPMs. It's just that mechanical keyboards feel much nicer to type on. Maybe the less errors on mechanical keyboards will give you an edge in typing, but I don't think it will be as much as an increase of 30WPM.120WPM is still crazily fast btw. It's for advanced typists. Can go record court proceedings already. |

The thing with laser-etched keys is that they are filled with white paint, since laser can only produce a black mark.
So the paint will go sooner than the laser-etched surface, which defeats the purpose IMO. |

Different switches might be nice for gamers but ultimately most mechanical keyboards are geared towards typists, and typists prefer uniformity when they are typing. That's why the switches across all keys are consistent.
But I'm sure the market is changing fast. Gaming mechanical keyboards are going to be the norm soon enough. |

QUOTE(Iphone4Lover @ Nov 17 2010, 09:15 PM) BTW, quite urgent help needed here. My fren is going to Singapore 2moro so i want to know is there any mechanical keyboard recommended that is cheaper at there or worth to buy at SG only? Budget will be bout RM400(where the most RM450). Thx for help. So far I would say Filco should be the most worth it if you consider only the typing experience. The quality is tried and tested.I don't know if you can get it under RM400 though. |

You can wait for storm88 to bring in the Filco to Malaysia though, it should be around Rm400.
