No game supports it atm.

@areszues92: I think you can turn it off at the control panel.

Go to your Catalyst Control Centre. Then, find the 3D Tab and find Morphological Anti-Aliasing to disable it.

This kind of thing can be easily found by Google-ing. sweat.gif

if wanna check out the EyeSpeed, dl the freaking demo & check it out.
http://www.amd.com/us/products/technologie...ges/gaming.aspx

warning, i' not in a good mood 2day & will report any troll/spammer.

edit:
in gaming, apart from the physic calculation, it can also do AI computation.
so i guess if games were to utilized this, it will result in smarter, more responsive AI.
@ the same time, the game could throw more smart AI @ player in a single map @ a given time..

theoretically speaking of coz.

currently, i guess not beneficial @ all.
h/w technologies is always ahead of s/w, wat can u do about it?

even not really beneficial at the moment, there is reason y AMD put these new features in.
otherwise, it will not b a new generation, rather re-branding card......*cough*....gtx580....*cough*

but dis is a glimpse of the future.
i'm still waiting physic from AMD.........

so really need to wait the future developers to produce more on it.. sweat.gif
i'm sure by the time those features become common.. there are better hardware waiting..
same goes to the tessellation thingy before 5 series..

as for now.. not worth paying such tech with no hope to utilize it..

Which model of 450W are you having?

And 450W supports up to a HD5850 wink.gif. Provided that the 450W is the power supply's true rating and not peak power.

Can. My friend even use 400W SilverStone PSU(True Power) to run Radeon HD5850 on an i7 860. tongue.gif
But, might get BSOD sometime.

450W should be OK and enough.

However, AMD/ATi website officially recommended 500W PSU for it. But, it's common for manufacturer to do this because they don't want to get complain or any problem later.

I use MSI afterburner. Create a profile and set it to auto. Eg: when the temp is 40c, fan speed is 20%, 50c - 30%, 60c-40%, 70c -50%, 80c-60%.
Actually I am quite curious about how others set their fan speed as well, like what is the max fanspeed they set etc. But this is what I think suit me the most, the top 5870 max temp after 2 hours of crysis @ Very High is 81c. Btw, the noise doesn't really bother me, I use headset. tongue.gif

The sound produced by Asus EAH5870 v2 with max fan speed is reasonably loud, almost similar with the noise generated upon server bootup.

But the temp can reached as low as 40 Celcius even under full load.
