True for Voodoo pre-Beta4.

I thought Voodoo Beta3 is battery draining coz it always lock your processor at 1GHz..

Yes sir. Yesterday I updated to sztupy's 'JPM universal lagfix kernel' and today I updated again to laststufo's 'super optimized jp6-jpm kernel'. Cool so far, no data/app lost.

Push mail is like having your mail delivered to your doorstep by a postman.

Pull mail is like owning a PO box. You have to go to post office yourself to get the mail.

The new touch sensor on SGS is made where the sensor was basically laid on top of the AMOLED, which it has no empty/vacuum space in between. If this is true, the chances of dust getting onto of your AMOLED display is rare/zero. Below/behind he AMOLED, maybe, but that's insignificant already.

So, we'll see how it goes. So far so good on mine, being in my pocket for a while now. Both my Nokia's screen was haunted by dust.

My SGS has been naked since day 1. What do you mean by 'dust goes into the screen'? What should I be looking out for?

do i need to set anything in the messaging setting to let me retrieve MMS?
i received 2nd MMS and yet i cant open or view it..it just say downloading

I used to have the same problem. I'm with Maxis btw.

I dialled *100#, go to Internet settings, go into Phone Settings, go into Phone Settings again, then confirm your phone is SGS, and then you will have the following settings option:

Wap + MMS
WAP
MMS Internet
etc

I downloaded them trial and error, not sure which is the correct one....after a while, I realised I can receive MMS already. So I just leave it and don't want to play with the settings again....

ya know when u put in your pocket or just leaving it on the desk for longer period..
sometime dusts can get inside the screen from the sides.. ..it could be the lack of build of the phone..like the glue or the material...try googling it,...its pretty common.

I get what you mean now. I don't see anything stuck under the screen, maybe because the S-AMOLED display actually has no separation/space between touch sensor and display layer.

However, there is a bit of dust in the small narrow areas between screen and the chrome bezel - nothing serious, a quick rub with a PC keyboard cleaner brush clears things up fine.
