@fansoption: I like #3 and #4 for miniature effect

@lwliam: The shots doesn't look symmetrical to me xD, I mean the crop is a little bit of not balanced

how symmetrical do you want? like the 6 sides of a snow flake? or like the exact moment of the total eclipse of the sun? mind elaborating more?

p/s: by the way, the subject of that pic are the crashing waves on the cliff..

thanks jerry for noticing that.. thumbup.gif

if he's talking about the waves photo then IMO, i dont think it would work if it was symmetrical.

the wave is there but I felt the land(cliff?) there is being cut away too much and the wave is quite center IMO ... >.<

Wonka: Not interesting. What's in the bag?

lwliam: Nice concept! The part in the top left is a bit jarring though.

destfull: Nice #2 and #3!

interesting news here - http://www.sonyalpharumors.com/sony-a55-ha...80p-at-4860fps/
if only sony could release it for us in firmware instead of relying on hacks to get the best out of it

I've recorded a video:

NEX-5 v3 with LA-EA1 v2 with Sony SAM lenses!

Contrast Detect Auto Focus test with the Sony Alpha NEX-5, firmware version 3, with the Sony LA-EA1 A-mount to E-mount lens adapter, firmware version 2, with Sony SAM lenses.

Tested with the following: Sony 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 DT SAM, Sony 28-75mm F2.8 SAM, Sony 30mm F2.8 DT SAM Macro, Sony 50mm F1.8 DT SAM, Sony 55-200mm F4-5.6 DT SAM (2).

The Sony 35mm F1.8 DT SAM and Sony 85mm F2.8 SAM have not arrived in Malaysia as of time of recording this video.

More to come when I have finished uploading them. smile.gif

yeah i noticed that too when editting just now.. too big to properly clone it out... so i just left it... but the meat is soooo yummmy, i wanna bite into it now..

but then again, i look at it overall now, it could be the meat are on the centre table, ready to be served to the guests.. blush.gif

p/s: wow, the motor buzzing sound is really loud.. definitely not usable for proper video taking.. i soooo ROFLed at the 30mm Macro when it BUZZZZEDDDD
