QUOTE(Deerc @ Oct 17 2010, 06:00 PM) thanks for the heads up.. will try out a few before getting a good one. I own a cheap-cheap one... sometimes doesnt really do much. i also duno y. most sifus here say if ur gonna use cheap filters... might as well dont use any... and isnt there a filters thread in the forum?yuhi: haha I first... but didnt want to say.. later kena vacation... hazril: no no, im not comparing RAW and Jpeg.. of course RAW is better... i mean the ExtraFine Jpeg against the JPEG in the RAW + JPEG setting... here: • RAW (.ARW 2.0) • Compressed or uncompressed RAW option • RAW + JPEG Fine • JPEG Extra Fine • JPEG Fine • JPEG Standard these are all the a700 choices of files... so obviously the JPEG Extra fine would be much better than the JPEG fine in the (RAW + JPEG setting) right? this is want i want to know... sorry for being so noob... |

QUOTE(lwliam @ Oct 18 2010, 11:33 PM) how symmetrical do you want? like the 6 sides of a snow flake? or like the exact moment of the total eclipse of the sun? mind elaborating more? if he's talking about the waves photo then IMO, i dont think it would work if it was symmetrical.p/s: by the way, the subject of that pic are the crashing waves on the cliff.. thanks jerry for noticing that.. albnok: nice vid #2... SSM lenses are significantly quieter than SAM lenses. Its almost totally silent (or maybe background noise also plays a part but i dunno). The hunting is hurting my eyes.. haha... Keep up the good work!

ahpingko: you have to take into account the fact that the wider it goes, the more prone it is to getting distortion and vignetting... but of course its not 100% always the case... for me 11-18mm is wide enough edy.

QUOTE(hazril @ Oct 21 2010, 01:26 PM) i think he;s trying to say that the front part of the bicycle is not in focus but instead the background is... Im not sure if its wrong focus or not, coz its subjective towards the photographer. |
