micron is capable of 8-8-8 @ 18xx w/ reasonable volt (1.7xv) iirc. imo no point runnin 7-9-7 on micron, they're better off runnin @ 7-7-7 (tight timing) or 8-8-8 (lax timin). my humble 2 cents.  wink.gif

this board having problem to boot with cl7 dvider 1600mhz..
and this was done with only 1 stick..i dont have 2 of this.. my other rams failed to boot.

trfc , read to read, write to write is loose..kekeke

ahh.. i found that this mobo good in handling high vdimm.. so this was done with 1.780v
kekeke.. but soon, i tried with 1.75Xv..no sign of instability but i dont prime.. time is precious..kekeke..
proceed with higher freq but failed.. sweat.gif sweat.gif

amd is not like intel..
for amd, 1.8v is normal.. very2 safe (Atleast for me)
but since most these days ram not react to volt well, that is why ppl make em <1.7v

and i removed some of the insulation near ram pwm + some cooling.. so i can assure u the board will survive all the way back to u icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

I just left everything for my ram setting to auto, and its showed the timing is 9-9-9-20-33 1T at 1.5v. You can check the CPU-z in my sig. Is this looks ok?

btw guys, if pcie lane is running below x16, is it because of the mobo or the card ? mine is running at x1.. after using eraser, the speed increase to x4 hmm.gif

normally the 1st pcie x16 slot on motherboard will offer 16 lanes or 8 lanes. unsure.gif

yeah.. but personally for ddr2, i will stick at most 2.1v.. dont dare go 2.2v but with ddr3, 1.8v is very2 safe and no worry at all (same 0.3v increment)

555be of late have problem to be unlocked into quad/tri, so dun set ya hope high. if u really need a quaddy, get a real one instead of gamblin. it's not like 955/965 are way highly priced than a 555be. better be on d safe side rather than takin d risk. smile.gif

alternatively u can go for proven unlocked chip, all u need is a mobo capable of doin core unlockin. what's mobo ur usin btw? hmm.gif

If I edit my clock and stuff from AMD Overdrive, will the settiing will be apply the next time I reboot? Will it change it inside the bios or it's just on the fly, within the window only?
