what? the board?
with 7-8-7 , 7-9-7 , 7-10-7 it 40mhz-50mhz lower than my other board.
havent try with cl8 tho..
and same as u guys.. 1600 dvder wont make it..
well... things might be better with other's hand :/cry: :/cry:
ur bein modest bro, kvr bein run @ 17xx~18xx isn't something we can witness everyday. i'd say job nicely done.

yeah..my secret weapon taken out..
boot with 1st try!!
hail micron! kekekeke
single channel tho :/sweat:
this is the max i can do with cl7..
cl8 eh? will try later.. i just dont like the figure.. since i care most is the trcd..kekeke.. trp is to make the number look nais.. kekeke
micron is capable of 8-8-8 @ 18xx w/ reasonable volt (1.7xv) iirc. imo no point runnin 7-9-7 on micron, they're better off runnin @ 7-7-7 (tight timing) or 8-8-8 (lax timin). my humble 2 cents.

Hi to all sifu,
I want to try OC my system (stable one, not so hardcore).
My current setup is:
AMD Phenom II X3 720
GIGABYTE MA770T-UD3P
6GB KVR DDR3 1333mhz
CM 212+
I try the first step OCing but hope sifu can give some advice what needed to tune.
Stock value for Vcore is 1.25v (is that too low?, what is the safety value?)
Bus Speed & HT Link is stock (is it necessary to change? if want to try to get 3.5Ghz)
Thank you so much.
i managed a poor 3.7GHz with my ex 720 b4, but volt needed was pretty ugly. in general, 720 doesn't clock as gud as b50/b55, u'd probably max out around 3.8GHz provided u got a great batch. for a 3.5GHz, u can try ht link @ 2k while crank up ya cpu-nb freq @ 2.25GHz. voltage wise i'd say around 1.35v +/- 0.02v should be suffice.
