hello everyone ..

here is my result.. for some reason i cant past 4.0ghz (can log into windows but bsod after a few minute of prime 95 ). any idea to overcome this ? bsod mssg is "stop : 0x00000124"

u can always give d address bro, but i only have ta690g + x2 4400 in my house, d thuban rig belong to my fren a.k.a neighbor...

yup, d capability of ram clockin on d previous 1055 is superb if compared to this 1090. can't really say 1090 not doin as gud in ram clockin coz i've seen great mileage on 1090, some more these were done on a 770 board only... well, it's either luck or user problem (in my case) i guess...

there's no skill involved on what i managed with 1055, it was all pure luck only... what i did were to try diff combination w/ diff volt, as simple as that.

hyper cost arms & legs, premium psc stick not cheap either... sigh... it's time for some micron loves? sadly crucial ballistix are not available easily, they are decent clocker from what i read. dilemma... who want my eco...

no, i think they are available on nvdia chipset only bro...

gotta ask d "black & red mobo" gang ledi, we cheapskate mobo users got vanila type of bios only...

try lower down other clock to eliminate the bottleneck factor?

the team elite is very2 nice eh.. but 1600mhz nowhere to found here..
last time my team elite also doing good..wish to take another try with 800series, but.. i mistakenly took la LoVo that now i hate so much..
at 1st, i bought a trichannel t1 KXH that on display..that was a old ram (it been for display quite a long time i guess)..
but once tested, it cant boot.. the heatsink quite hot..so i suspect some d9.. if only it can boot.. dayum..
since it died, i have some in mind..that might be the great chip that self-RMAing one..ahhhh

so now the thing is the batch right?.. 1090t tends to get wafer with a weaker IMC.. with these possibilities, i willing to wait for bulldozer.. refrain to take thuban 1st.

s3x core is way away from me at this moment...just want to share/ask...i have 4 pcs ddr2 CL3 micron d9 ram took out from Dell Opt 280 from my office...it seems that it cant boot in when i use it at my AM2 rig...does anyone have any idea on this? or do i need to pump the volt till 2.1 to make it works? AFAIK tightes timing on ddr2 is CL4 right? Correct me if im wrong...

maybe it's ddr2 433 than by default ur mobo push until 800..
then pengsan..

yes, depend on ram speed.. u need to set i accordingly..
otherwise like overclocking it..

or maybe u should loosen abit the timing CL4 or 5.. who knows can run @ 667 or 800..

Ok just want to clear my thought...Now the ram factory speed is running at 400 with CL3 on it...so by right, there shouldnt be any prob to run it on CL3 right??? Btw thanks for the helping ya bro...

no prob with CL3, just that 400 like a speed as normal DDR..
only vdimm is lesser..

but actually depends on mobo also.. coz some not convenient running at low speed.. u need to tweak abit..

if cant boot, try this.. i usually use this method if ram compatibility..

boot with compatible ram 1st.. change value to the rated value of ur incompatible ram...change ram..
good to go..kekeke. if only the mobo not canggih enough to detect "ram changed, press F1 to run with default speed" kekkeke

put in KVR...

go into bios set voltage to 2.1 or 2.2v

then save (F10)

reboot but quickly off power

take out KVR

put back Micron based chip ram

325mhz htt on AM2.. last time no matter how hard i tried, only able to make 290

I think it is TA-690G but strangely..why it said AMD is the manufacturer not Biostar?

if loose the timing abit maybe can increase the speed more..

Accidently use my colleague id... Its Biostar TA-690G bro...Correct its Biostar, but i have no idea why this happend...Like ususal, will do it once reach home...

it's more on mobo/chip capability... even a venice can do > 300 w/o sweat provided d combo is rite. iirc, our sir antonio did 400 usin venice...
