Hi all sifus, i wan to know will a 1.65v ram running @ 1.5v can cause instability and random memory bsod?(at stock setting with non-oc)
I get random memory bsod since d day i get d OCZ Gold 1333mhz...and may i know what is d condition to RMA a ram(if run memtest+ got hundreds of error, can i rma with this reason?)? sry for my noobie question and tq very much for advice and guidance

why not u just set 1.65v? the requirement is there for a reason..

i see, so i muz also try to set to 1.65 volt to determine whether its cause by lack of power or really is da ram issue.
one of da ram has failed memtest+, do i need to test it further? or juz opt for rma it?

of course, u cant lower the ram voltage

He can lower down the voltages if he know how to tweak~ Just follow the standard stock voltage as stated at ur ram sink~

i know it can be lower it, but problem is, scare it wont work right out of d box. will try to set d volt @ 1.65v wit my pc fren since it also having d same bsod with me but his ram pass the memtest+ for 36 hrs.

Mobo ram slot koyak. Swap slot.

just make sure u off everything and left it about 1 minute before re-sit the ram.. put all in default and try back the stability test to make sure the ram is ok..

other than their blade/reaper/flex series, d rest are so so only to me...

Will do all the steps as u guys advice. Will report bac if everything is fine

d volt is higher during load bro, so i can't really claim d chip needs 1.46v for a 4.25GHz cinebench stable. still no time to oc ya rig ah bro? i want.... chiv...

last time yes... nowadays cheap. only rm20+- from value rams..

last time the vdimm is around 1.9v
now 1.65 iinm.. so no d9 anymore..keke
