u are not worried that it wil affect yr ccris by not paying in full?
Not paying in full will not affect your CCRIS. Not paying the minimum stated in your statement will.

With Alliance Bank Visa rate now comparable to other cards, I reapply for MBB Petronas Plat Visa last week and today called up CS and was told application has been approved.

So anyone here knows if get 2X for overseas spending with MBB Petronas Card?
SCB VI also issued to people having loan with SCB.

As for SCB 1 year FD, there's no promotion rate and rate lowest (unless opt for the weird 5 years FD tenure where interest rate is changeable). For 1 year FD better go deposit with another bank and get extra RM2500 cash and free gift too.

Unless one goes overseas often, what other better benefits does SCB VI offer over other Plat cards?
OCBC Titanum offers 1% cashback for general transactions, so how is above 1% of importance?
got the email too, but since it only up to Dec 2010, lazy to go and change auto debit to OCBC.
just got my OCBC Titanium statement today too. Unlike AMEX Gold CC where it list down the merchants where we get extra 3X points, OCBC doesn't breakdown the cash back. Got charged interest of RM221.09 and noted there was a reversal for the same amount. Next month got to fast fast do BT to DA and enjoy another 6 months 0% interest. Got max cashback of RM120  thumbup.gif Last month miss the max cash back by RM20.

Got it too on 15-11-2010.

Do we need to activate anything for this bonus offer like call the CS?
The cap on this two rebates (3% extra rebate+2% bonus rebate) is RM200+RM100, which works out to be for a total utilities bill of rm6000.

I like the item on 2.1 below, as it covers all the bills paid using internet banking from 29-sept onwards, YIPPIE.

Terms and Conditions Governing the OCBC Internet Banking Bill Payment Rebate Campaign
(3% Rebate + exclusive 2% Bonus Rebate for selected OCBC customers)
1. The Campaign
1.1
The OCBC Bill Payment Campaign (“Campaign”) offers 3% rebate (“3% Rebate”) for selected bills paid through OCBC Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. In addition to the 3% Rebate, a bonus rebate of 2% (“Bonus Rebate”) is exclusively offered to selected customers who are invited via email to make billpayment via OCBC Internet or Mobile banking.
2. Campaign Period
2.1 The Campaign Period shall be between 29 September and 31 December 2010 (both dates inclusive) (“CampaignPeriod”) or such other period as may be determined by OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (“OCBC”) in its absolute discretion.

regarding the eligibility for ocbc titanium/ any other cc, i have a friend who just work as a doctor (houseman) with government basic is 2.1k, with together with allowances, his monthly income is about 4.3k. so is it eligible for titanium card? since the allowances is not taken into consideration right?

as long as latest payslip shows min rm3k and last 3 months bank statement shows min rm3k salary credited, no prob, will qualify.

a). How much time do we have to wait before we can actually request to increase for our Credit Limit credit card?

b). Can we apply again the same card for the same bank where we took our new visa credit card? Thanks in advance
*
usually bank will increased it automatically based on ur spend and payment. or just give bank new payslip which is higher than during applying before. 3 years ago my gold card CL is just 12k, always reach limit before statement, need to pay (i pay full amount) before can swipe again, so bank increased to 18k then 24k (within 2 years) then free upgrade to platinum smile.gif show to bank u want to swipe more but also can pay it

Because zero-annual-fee cards are too abundant that they have lost their exclusiveness.
Other people don't bother to look at your zero-annual-fee card because it is too cheap.
