goto "System>Preferences>CompizConfig Settings Manager"
make sure u have "Desktop Cube" enabled

then press Ctrl + Alt + left click + move your mouse

if u see a 3d wall instead of a 3d cube. make sure u have 4 desktops switcher

simply said, yes smile.gif

You will need to reinstall grub via Ubuntu Live CD. There's a detailed steps here:

Good luck!

Try not to use Hardy Heron. It's not stable yet.

owh its the source file...

does it have a readme in there? that would help a lot... usually its..

CODE
sudo ./configure
sudo make
sudo checkinstall

if u dun have checkinstall please install and use it...

CODE
sudo apt-get install checkinstall

checkinstall will install the driver as a DEB package, so later on, you can easily remove it by...

CODE
sudo apt-get remove package_name

i think when u want to compile it, you are going to need to download a lot of libraries... tongue.gif

Ubuntu does have a driver for the Logitech Quickcam in the repositories, there is no need to install it from source. Follow the instructions here.
