CODE ..mp-bios bug: 8254 timer not connectedto io-apic Kernel panic - not syncing: io-apic + timer doesnt work!Boot with apic=debug and send a report. then try booting with the 'noapic' option hi..i'm just trying to install ubuntu(latest one) but this problem occured..need advise  i'm using bioastar am2 mobo with x2 proc.. |

Hi
i just installed 7.10 gutsy 1.how do i make vista as default os? 2.how to automatically enable num lock on keyboard? 3.can i install plug-ins for firefox eg ad-block,flash player & youtube downloader? 4.what its mean by restricted driver? i just enabled it for my 7600gt..any good enabling it? erm.. i'm not sure how to rearrange the boot list..
where can i find this great software? http://www.ubuntugeek.com/startup-manager-...nd-usplash.html for flash,i installed gnash but i cant view flash properly in some web pages |

i installed ubuntu on same hdd with my vista
but i also have winxp on my slave hdd. how do i insert winxp on the boot menu for ubuntu? the menu only listed ubuntu,memtest & vista. |

hi..

hi all.
i just formatted my old ubuntu gutsy and installed the latest version. reason is because i hope it will automatically install driver for my wifi adapter, linksys usb wifi with speedbooster 54mbps but it did not. i've read somewhere that it is using broadcom chipset.can anyone please guide me. |

i've searched in googled few days back and i found this http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=225206 but the problem i've stucked at step 3 CODE sudo ndiswrapper -m i got this message CODE sudo: ndiswrapper: command not found futhermore the guide & driver attached is for 32bit version while i'm using 64bit ubuntu 8.04 i'm using linksys wusb54gsc version 1.0.. i also found out that driver for win 64bit was never released.  |

thanks to both fastcx & oshiri somehow i managed to finished the guide but i still couldnt get it working. now i'm downloading f5d071 from belkin site to extract usb8023.sys and rndismp.sys it's ok.. i try by myself firs. later will enquiry you guys back if i got trouble This post has been edited by arafat: Sep 3 2008, 11:05 PM |
