erm.. i'm not sure how to rearrange the boot list..
where can i find this great software?
http://www.ubuntugeek.com/startup-manager-...nd-usplash.html

for flash,i installed gnash but i cant view flash properly in some web pages
*
You can try:

CODE
sudo apt-get install startupmanager

NOTE: I have never tested is before so I wouldn't know if it really works.

For flash, I blogged about that before biggrin.gif

http://www.alterego7.com/2008/01/flash-pla...for-ubuntu.html

Follow the instructions there and you should be fine. If you run into any problems, do post back! smile.gif

Probably your screen resolution setting? Can explained more detailed?
You can navigate to "System" -> "Preferences" -> "Screensaver"
There is an option for you to set.  smile.gif

Hmm,

Okay my L1955 Is a 19" with 1280 X 1024 reso.

However, when ever I set my dual screen like that, the screen is like...

out of range but it can be displayed, however, the screen is out-frame the monitor, which if you push the mouse down, the screen goes down.

And no, there's no option for me to set ._.

According to the AMD Catalyst 8.2 Release Notes, the ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 is supported. So just install the fglrx driver as per the instructions outlined here.

Since you already have Vista added to your grub menu, your /boot/grub/menu.lst should contain the required entries for Vista. So, by following the format for Vista's entries, you could easily add the entries for XP. Well, if you are not sure what to do, post the output of sudo fdisk -l here.

well, im thinking of reinstall my ubuntu, again..
the prob that i got now is, i have to set my sata(xp) to 2nd drive and ide(ubuntu) to primary, and that somehow slow down my xp startup.
cant change it coz grub wont recognize it later, so is there any way for me to fix this up?
coz every time i install grub, whether hd0/hd1 its still want ide to be primary.

mayb install grub through win xp?

its not enabled by default. u will have to install compiz config manager. in there, you can enable the 3d cube. you can also check the actual hotkey for that effect.

CODE
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

Hope i helped!

Hi. Anyone here can get buddy icons for YM protocol working in Pidgin? My friends on YM official client (Windows) cant see my display image but other Pidgin users on Ubuntu can see my display image. I 've tried various format jpg png gif etc and resized the img to 96x96 but the problem still persists. Any leads?

Thanks in advance
