Just a reference, maybe I'll change the drum heads and re-tune it till perfect when I move it out my room to the music room. But the Masters will be according to YOUR specifications. And you can't really compare like that IMO. For example la... chinese maple and American maple? Both maple kan? Stuff like that. But it still doesn't sound the same.birch/basswood not good u say? well 97 tama's starclassic uses the same material leh. haha I have to admit though, Birch/Basswood sounds great Next set may be a Roland TD9K |

I'm pulling the trigger on a Dunnett titanium snare. The time is ripe. Musician's Friend is offering a 200 bucks rebate so I'm getting a hard case and a DrumDial and a couple sets of Emperor snare drum heads for free. Soon, I'll be able to return the Tama Tension Watch I borrowed. It's too sensitive for my liking. The drum will fill up the gap nicely... I hope.

Thanks. The plan is to complement a really good maple drum I already have. I'm just getting a plain vanilla model. I wanted one with all the bells and whistles but Dunnett and its network of "boutique" shops are a real b*tch to deal with, honestly. It was a toss up between this and a Joyful Noise TKO but I chose this 'coz Musician's Friend has always been easy to deal with.
Does anyone have anything to share on heads/tuning? Just wanted to poll: Evans is the best right |

I think u dont need a manual to operate it. Having a manual is good but its not the most important thing as i think u can set it up by yourself.
My roland td4 manual i only look at it once when setting it up. Regarding the module, i din use the coach or watever function much just normal setting which i play by myself without manual. However if manual is a necessity to u, then don buy from this seller. How about the official website of the product? DO they have it? Or send an email to the tech support saying u own the product |
