u can try isolate the problem, use another handsfree to determine the one you have now is ok, then try removing vodoo etc.....its weird that it only happens when you use the handsfree....have u tried using a bluetooth headset? u really sure u dont have a sore throat

You should consider just changing straight away.. Seems SGS gives you lots of tension and stress (not good for health)..

Got my maxis bill today, was half expecting a surprise cos i tethering on the last day of the bill coverage and i over exceeded by quite a bit. you know how is it even possible to use 1.5Gb on the dot? If there is no system to monitor it is the consumer who is at the disadvantage, i mean think about it, if we exceed we pay like crazy but if we dont maxis also benefits. so i wanted to upgrade from 1.5Gb to 3Gb cos i rather pay additional RM10/month than a few hundred at once they say i cant upgrade cos i signed the 1 year contact to get the phone.

all i wanna say is this.....SCREW MAXIS!!! FRAUDSTERS!!! CHEATERS!!

hehe....just wanna release some tension....by the way, how to monitor data usage on the phone if tethering ah? 3G watchdog just does not capture it and oh by the way just in case some of you dont know, 1.5Gb = 1572864 KiloBytes

what kind of apps u use?
all text box can use the copy paste function what.. just hold the text box then menu will appear..
then you may choose what to do.. copy paste cut bla bla bla..

never saw people complain about the wifi yet.. even me myself enjoy using the wifi..

coz i dont know how to do that.
i only can turn on the wifi : setting>wireless>wifi
but i think the connection not so good.. coz even though it shows that it is connected but then i cant seems to use the internet..
coz i cant seems to send my email. but my friend she can use facebook etc... (shes on iphone4) she is also connected to the same wifi....
and fyi both of us are on maxis... diff is that she is with the 500mb plan and im on the 3gb plan.. i feel so sad

if wired tethrung 3g watchdog is useless....

my recommendation is have these to installed
1, 3g watchdog 2. Netcounter.

in combination they are almost 99% reliable

May i know u r on Eclair or Froyo?

Better use mobile AP, as watchdog 3G can capture the usage, just plug the usb cable to charge it while use mobile AP.

yeah i read in the forum someone mentioned about the 12 month start back but i think the customer service girl on the phone malas to layan, so i have to go to a maxis centre to settle this.

netcounter can check tethering usage ah? thanks for the tip though, i'll get netcounter

Added on October 20, 2010, 8:31 pmim on eclair, still contemplating whether to upgrade or not. yes i do use mobile AP sometimes but the problem is the phone gets so hot when i do that and i notice tethering faster than mobile AP, i think maxis should just have a notification once we exceed or close to exceeding the data usage limit, if not just totally cut off after exceed but to me the way they are doing is now is called CHEATING but of course im sure all of you know by now, most big corporations cheat to gain profit
