Jz changed my alternator, cost me RM200 inclusive of installation. Need so expensive meh? Anyone changed before? Got any people know cheap and good foremen in Cheras ah?

got bubble means d water coming out frm small hole lor.. normally when it is hot n u pour, it wont have bubble just steam.. i mean when u start d car n let it hot..

overhaul, 1k + confirm...
partially rebuild engine 3k above...
rebuild engine 5k above by 'mad driver'

if u planning to continue use ur wira for long term, i recommend u go spare part shop n buy for original... dont recon....

Currently I think top overhaul will do..no need go until full overhaul although it is a better option.. wink.gif

Emmm... Not that agree with you on this, recon(3 months) have longer warranty period compare to buying new(1 month).
And 1.5 original alternator is 75A only, buy recon that can output 90A would be better... I'm waiting for mine to spoilt before I change....

Depends on situation. Normal service, changing absobers won't be that expensive.... but overhaul will be a killer.... Worst of all they are not doing a proper job on recon back the block. Like what I'm facing now. After overhaul still noisy... Lucky I not yet drive the car.... So the cost will be on my foreman....
That's why certain Japan brand will choose to change the whole block, which won't have problems....

Noisy like how noisy ? Maybe it is tappet alignment. My case last time, I did an overhaul but did not came back there for tappet alignment. Then some time later, tappet goner, engine gone and overhaul again, at which should have engine transplant instead. But back then, I'm a total noob and in need to use the car, so no problem.

recently my wira if rev up hardly,sometimes the rpm will move up 1st then only speed move up,izit clutch is kong oredi?

i recommend u my mech at bangsar do good job for my car.. top overhaul... price also vry reasonable..

lolx.. where u buy frm? i buy frm baybrothers spare part shop, he warranty ori 1/2 yrs compare recon 3 months

buy cheap, do a complete overhaul 1-2k den just simple maintaince service which cost only 150+- per service. make sure use ori n good quality oil..

that happen to me buy i put some greese or lubricant on the gear n belt... den no more sound
