kucingfight - Pumped Ron92 (Caltex & Esso) - RM50, 70% fast speed, 30% city driving = 420km. Light pedalled, anticipate traffic ahead
Arkaine - RM50 of primax = 340 km (suppose can go 350) but stuck in jam a lot

I guess sifu Oly manage to install it before the year of 2007 and endorse, or install without endorse brows.gif

Either way, 4G63T is a great engine. Now wira cannot use it no more. Highest can go is GSR

From what I understand, LCP slightly improves pick up. I too was thinking of installing LCP, but maybe during the time I need to change timing belt.

Actually LCP releases torque throughout the whole rpm
Most noticable is the low end smile.gif
*
Ahh I see. Meaning that it produces more torque in low end RPM eh ? Does that means it loses torque at high end ?

and 1 more thing..i dont know whether this kind of thread still available but i cant find it. i'm using stock wira headlamp..wanna change to something like diamond bulb. is it i need to change the whole headlamp ?? or just install the bulb will do?
any sifus please enlighten me~ i'm seriously a noob here.  notworthy.gif
*
If you want to change the bulb, then just the bulb. If you want to change the looks of your headlamp, then headlamp it is.

4300k got a bit yellowish right? did you "kena" block before?
by the way, what is the best way to adjust car's bulb? mine 1 seems "cacat"..what i mean is adjust to make it same for both side  biggrin.gif
*
Yes, 4300k is yellowish, and I think safe from road block, not so noticeable. I forgot the limit, 4350k or 4500k. Mine is 8000k H/L. Wanted to get 6000k but no stock, end up getting 8000k instead. Thought of 4300k, but the colour looks like normal halogen. Normal driving on yellow halogen.

If I don't use ballasts, is it ok?  hmm.gif
will it brighter than normal bulb?  biggrin.gif
I just want it brighter, currently the bulb is so dim..  doh.gif
*
Can use without ballasts eh ? I have no idea laugh.gif

Mine too not so bright after using HID, but definitely better but the lighting got 'cacat'. Some say it is the headlamp. If you use projector, then the light will be brighter.

MIVEC got kick one meh ? Speaking of MIVEC, which is better, 1.8 MIVEC or 4G93T ? In terms of overall performance and maintenance.

ya, i think the weight is GT disadvantage.
if just barely hit 80, 3rd gear. If more than 80, 4th gear.
dun think the guy sayang the car, he even overtook the car infront even when its double lane.
looks like wira can only play with them on pickup
Btw, your car is 1.5 or 1.6?
93t for pickup but cannot long2 on top speed. Mivec can top speed all the way.
*
What do you mean by 93T cannot long2 on top speed ? Meaning that MIVEC pwn 93T at top speed ? I'm not looking on sudden boost quick pick up. One can stay at high speed for long time like above 160 kmph for long travel is good enough. My 1.5A now don't dare to go high speed, limit to 140 kmph or 4.5k RPM. Don't want history to repeat, last time tappet loosen, engine out sweat.gif

Turbocharged heats up easily and faster than N/A ? I thought it's the other way round. MIVEC is N/A right ? Too much influenced from Initial D, just finish marathon whole series laugh.gif

Hi all,

Today when I on A/C, my car feel like no power..like underpower..I'm driving Wira 1.5 Auto(4G15)..

Actually what is the problem will cause the car underpower when A/C on?

Besides that, I would like to get some opinions from you all, is it worth to invest more on Wira? since its old car, and will it be very hard to find spare part later on?
*
Yes, mine too and it is normal. What I do is I spend less time braking, and when going uphill, I speed up earlier. Also, if your Wira still in good condition, my suggestion is to maintain it as long as you can, especially when you're studying or just started to work. Save up the monthly pay, until you can afford new one. I love my Wira thumbup.gif

How to consider in "good condition"?  biggrin.gif
*
As long the car doesn't give any much problem, only wear and tear products, then it's ok I think.

Then my car consider ok i think  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Yup, I think so. Mine I just need to maintain services, and check the wear and tear stuff, and replace with new one. For the power, have to bear with it la. Don't expect 10+ years old car can tapau new Evo. Even if can, then later a bit front few meters, car breakdown laugh.gif

The old 4G15 is a SOHC
The new 4G15 is a DOHC powering the Mitsubishi Colt

SOHC and DOHC, which one better ?

SOHC is better at low and mid RPM while DOHC is better at mid and high RPM ?
