But this is not caused by the lightening effect, but a minute variation
in the position of the timing rotor, which is mounted on the pulley.
Even the stock pulley will cause such variation when the dampening rubber
got harden and loosen, resulting in a slip of the timing rotor together
with the outer rim of the pulley.
This is the reason why the engines are also equiped with cam timing
sensor - to tell if the crank and cam timing is in-sync.
