QUOTE(munyi @ Sep 24 2010, 11:58 AM) Hi everyone, I believe you should be asking this in the DIGI thread, not in the MAXIS thread, no?Need help here! I've booked one phone to be collected tmrw. I currently have maxis 3G (N97 which was stolen a month ago) and have no problem with the 3g coverage. However, now Digi's RM90 /month offers 3GB, while Maxis RM100/month offers only 1GB. Any idea how is Digi 3G coverage? (I'm in KL but sometimes travel to husband's Kampar kampung.) Is 1GB enough for everyday surfing, some youTube viewing for my baby, personal email, IM? Many thanks. And i have 2 supp liines tagging along my current maxis. Hope to keep their number (Digi offers free calls between supp!) |

I've just finished my contract earlier this year, and I downgrade to RM50 plan. Later going to sign back contract and upgrade back to higher plan cost. |

I plan to go TTDI branch on 26th to get an iPhone4 outright since I'm now on iValue1 for iPhone4. Is there a limit to how many phones I can buy? (I intend to get two)
oh yar... on top of my earlier question on how many iphones an ivalue user can purchase... here's another question. For those phones purchased outright... what is the warranty period? |

QUOTE(davidgary73 @ Sep 23 2010, 06:35 PM) Q: buying iphone 4 outright..Could u tell us more details regarding it? Does it mean you can't just walked in and buy one outright iPhone? I am not planning to get a contract and I don't have an existing iValue plan just a Maxis Prepaid user.A1: Get into a contract - doesn't matter what plan - you get iphone from that contract. You can then ADD JUST the iPhone 4 (doesn't matter what size). In total - one iPhone with contract and one without (please keep in mind - no sim lock) [credit bontaku] A2: Bought my iphone 4 outright with no problem as long ur using ivalue plan [credit Freshie_Foo] A3: To buy outright purchases, just go to the counter when it's ur turn and tell them u want to purchase outright. Since one can purchase an i4 outright with Hotlink, is it possible to buy 2 i4s outright with one confirmation slip?

Hi guys,
I am a maxis one club member. But I only have my club number with me. I have no sms or card to identify myself. Do you think I can still get the 'priority' queue? J |

@s3an_looi,
Hi.. officially U should be able to purchase 2 units; 1 tied to a plan another as an outright unit. You will still get 12 months warranty on the outright unit purchased. Added on September 24, 2010, 1:40 pm@frega, Yes.. U can - at least last night it was possible. Just register it with a prepaid line or buy a prepaid pack from them This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Sep 24 2010, 01:40 PM |

Guys, read the FIRST PAGE! http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1572893
It is confirm that you can buy outright. HOW MANY is subject to the person serving you so ask and quickly decide when you are AT THE paying counter. It is important to have confirmation ID and IC cos this event is for pre-book. Or subject to luck but you still have to queue up to get a number. Hi peeps,
I just received a PM from a forummer who tells me he's unable to purchase any extra outright units; I've just asked him for more information - when he sends those out I'll post it here, if he hasn't done so yet. Hopefully for those who wish to buy outright units, they're still gonna be available. Maxis might have decided to stop selling those because too many people were taking outright units and stock levels are declining? On another note, a friend was at 1U @ DiGi this morning about 1030AM. She tells me they're all out of iPhone 4 stocks! |
