@blade10,
No one can tell U which place is gonna have stocks; U just gotta keep going from one to another until U find a unit available. Maybe U'll get lucky? |

@air_mood,
Yes... can't U read or understand a simple email?! It says you've a confirmed spot (by giving U that specific ID - make sure U bring it along with U) and that ur slot's opened from 2-6pm on the 25th September @ Gardens Ballroom! |

@Coolbreeze,
I'm not sure it's possible - if they go by the books you're gonna need your principal line holder to sign on the dotted line (read: the contract). Also, if the principal line holder is overseas, how are U going to get hold of his/her NRIC? |

@air_mood,
It's got nothing to do with U being a Maxis customer for more than 10 years. U managed to secure a slot only because the slots are still available! @cute_boboi, Good for U but no need to share ur joy here; i'm afraid everyone will follow suit and it's gonna clutter the forum |

@air_mood,
Don't need to tell people here U didn't register interest ; I registered interest but until now didn't receive any RSVP links via email from Maxis. I did however, receive an sms about 1/2 hr ago. |

It shouldn't be a one off thingy since this was also applicable last year. |

@hakim_radzuan,
No idea - maybe U call up Maxis to check and let us know the answer Plus if they do make you pay RM25 they make quite a lot of $ and it's not like U can fault them @jonest, OT a bit - can share with me the DiGi Corporate plans when you get it? Thanks! |

@wenshao88,
Lol... but it's so true hence the importance of buying the phone when it's initially launched; to maximise its lifespan |

@arjenayai,
Most prob. It's dependent on the system Maxis uses. Best U clarify and check with them but there's a high chance Visa/MasterCards will be accepted. |

@Xaphier,
That is right - that's also the information I got. Maybe wait it out a little for Maxis to start selling it outright? |

@mennmenn,
If there's 500 people queueing and 300 of them are Maxis OneClub members, that would mean the other queue will only have 200 members? |

@deepan84,
Let's just say that if U go tonight without a confirmation ID, Ur not gonna come back with a unit. @mennmenn, Haf fun U. I'm having a major migraine and am still hoping to keep it at bay so I can go look see look see too but since I don't have a Confirmation ID, I ain't gonna stay too long. |

@NoN@me,
When I was there, Yes it's available - more details over on the other thread @ https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1572893 Q&A: buying iphone 4 outright..Could u tell us more details regarding it? @ambrose, Hmm.. I didn't think about that; but maybe because I've no contacts on my SIM. U don't have to return the old SIM so u can still export the contacts into ur phone when U get home This post has been edited by davidgary73: Sep 24 2010, 11:53 AM |

@s3an_looi,
Hi.. officially U should be able to purchase 2 units; 1 tied to a plan another as an outright unit. You will still get 12 months warranty on the outright unit purchased. Added on September 24, 2010, 1:40 pm@frega, Yes.. U can - at least last night it was possible. Just register it with a prepaid line or buy a prepaid pack from them This post has been edited by tinkerbel: Sep 24 2010, 01:40 PM |
