How much is it there?

Yes you can download apps from com and transfer to phone. For free apps just go to the market on the phone and click the free tab. If you are talking about free paid apps, we're not allowed to discuss about that here  sweat.gif

just go for AP set if warranty is not your main concern. I'm using an AP set, no difference from the ORI set from what I can see.
Been using for 1 month+ now and so far, I haven't encounter any situation where I thought I should have gone for ORI set, yet.

The only difference is the warranty. If you don't need 2 years warranty from SIS then just go for AP. I have Ori set. Personally, I felt like I should have gotten AP set myself and saved few hundred ringgit doh.gif

As for markings, I'm not too sure but it won't affect your usage so no worries.

Hi, My HTC Desire cannot detect any satellite for GPS, could this be a damage in the software or the hardware?...

I've change the rom version and radio but still doesn't make any difference. What are the chances that the hardware is dead?...

I've did Factory Reset for many times...

is it expensive the replace it?...roughly how much it cost?....
is there any GPS driver or some files that might be missing while I updated the rom myself??

I never tested the GPS function when it is newly bought. I tested it only after I updated the Android version from 2.1 to 2.2.

For your info, I've used Papago X5, GPS test, and many other apps to search for satellite but all fail, even after being outdoors for a long time...my fren's Galaxy S detects the satellite in just a few seconds....any help here?....HTC is gonna charge me a bomb for repairing it...coz my warranty sudah void(please dun ask why)..

Based on my experience, back on 2.1 I was able to detect my position in a few seconds. After upgrading to 2.2, I need to wait 5-10 minutes to get a lock on my position..maybe your case is the same?

Take back to HTC to check if you feel hardware is faulty.
