The only difference is the warranty. If you don't need 2 years warranty from SIS then just go for AP. I have Ori set. Personally, I felt like I should have gotten AP set myself and saved few hundred ringgit  doh.gif

Yea that's what I thought. But want to claim warranty must unroot. Very susah, until now also I haven't find the official RUU for SLCD sets..

Any directory. Use a file manager such as Astro to install the app.

now with 2.2 froyo, can install apps on sd card rite without any apps or root?

Its actually based on a chinese rom. But it is translated to several language. For english there are several. Many would go for Eevek's custom MIUI. Myself using J-style MIUI which is based on Eevek's version smile.gif

guys, do i need to s-off in order to get amon ra recovery? <-mentioned in turkey's guide but i think s-off is quite complicated..
amon ra recovery is to get a2sd right? if not any other methods to get a2sd?

Hi all, I'm very new to Android, today I just try to root my desire slcd set on Froyo using unverovke, after I root, I not sure I'm succesfull root or not, I got super user in my phone now, but some root apps like titanium backup Is not working, hope you guys can help me, hope can I sure my phone is rooted, and can start flashing other Rom.

i've encountered a few problems using j-style rom...
1.when i access the dialer,i get FC...same also when i try to access my contacts...
2.my sms and calendar entry hasnt been restored...

what seems to be the problem?im using TB for my backup...can get back my sms,contacts and calendar entry,i will be very happy...

titanium not working due to no busybox..try to click problem? under titanium will then automatically download busybox.then only you can use it.

Added on October 28, 2010, 3:26 amFinally, i successfully rooted my phone and now running on AuraxTSense..yay!
